edit: don’t use that, i really like it
i'm an isles fan first, i understand why he left, but he didn't do it the right way
Why? because he said he'd like to remain an Islander? In his press conference he said it had to be the right oppourtunity for him to leave, this was it. If it was anything else, he probably wouldn't have left.
Shouldn't be too salty towards the guy for his appreciation for the organization & the city and the 9 great seasons he put in while management couldn't build a winning team around him.
@Seedoftavares whats the new name going to be my mans
honestly, i changed it kind of impulsively, but i realized i don't want to lose all the progress i have on everything. Just gonna ride out the storm until psn finally allows name changes
He’ll forever go down doing us dirty and thats what he’ll be remembered for. The Maven even asked him why and all the Islanders legends said it wasn’t ideal. Even Islanders players, none of them - wished him good luck publicly and one was even anonymously quoted saying burning of his jerseys is “not surprising”. Its not just the fans that feel this way. None of us care though what you think, we can feel how we want.
See you to boo him at the coli seed, I’ll be there.
Fucking Toronto fans push Phil Kessel out of their city and then get gifted John Tavares on a silver platter with an iPhone note while Tyler Bozak does a fricken player tribune article to the fans. B fucking s, posting a leafs jammies pic 2 seconds after being signed.
Loved the guy, but he should have done things differently and thanked the fans differently. My opinion, most of our fanbase’ opinion. We love our superstars through bad and good, when they stick to their words, of course.
I think your name should be: tavares made a hard, career altering decision and for you to call him a snake is being unloyal to the islanders who he was loyal to for the last 8 something years of his career
That might be to many letters
Separate names with a comma.
