nascar 09 racing league/ who has the game in there in hand?

Who has the game, not going to get it and is interested in a league also. What is your rep # and are you a a diehard racer or just a CASUAL racer.
More info to follow right now I am trying to get a real head count and skill level idea. thanks bp

I got it ordered. I used to be a diehard racer when nascar heat 2002 for the xbox was out and when 360 came out I didn't get to play it anymore and the nascar thunder games just sucked campared to that game. Does anyone remember nasar heat 2002?

Got the game. Rep # is 380 something I believe. Whats your criteria on seperating the hardcore racers from the casual? Just wanting to make sure what catagory I fit into.

 

I have the game, my rep is somewhere around 6200 (been playing a lot of single player truck races). I generally like a more sim experience, as I race on 'pro' mode with all assists off, although online I'm sure this will end up with me spinning out and collecting half the field.

 

I got the game. My rep # is right around 1000 right now. If by hardcore, you mean I'm not going to be stupid and spin people out, then yes I am. But if it means really good, then I'm prolly a casual racer.

 

Got the game yesterday so my rep is 0 right now. I'm waiting for my wheel and seat to come, but I'm still going to play some through out the week.

 

i have the game, i like it, im a casual racer, rep 1600 right now as im playibg the sprint driver challenge to improve rep and performance points, points that are otally necessary to compete online they matter soooo much.

 

I got the game but my rep is like 3000 or so if your talking about the rep you get from challenges and stuff

 

i am just trying to get an idea who is casual and who is hardcore. gives me an idea of using custom cars or just stock ones for league play

 

I got the game, just finished the challenges last night, so my rep is around 4900. Not a hardcore racer, just try to run clean races.

 

I prefer we use Custom cars. We can turn off performance points for online play right? Why not just turn all those down 0 and use custom cars? Then in theory it should all come down to how well you drive and how good the setup is.

Update: My rep is currently at 1131.

EDIT: As of tonight, my rep is up to 2100. I've upgraded all 4 engine performance points to 100.

 

Got it... I'm a middle of the road, probably more toward casual, but I like to fiddle with the basic settings. Don't know enough to mess with the other settings.

 

Hardcore racer here. Custom cars, totally customized setups. Boogity, boogity, boogity!

 

Im confused here. Whos going to be running this league? Is it going to be team based, or individual point series?

I have not bought the game, just rented it. Depending on this league pans out, I would buy it.

 

I don't think we've gotten to that point yet.

Do you do team, where you have 4 teams with 3 racers each in the race? Or 3 teams with 4 racers in each race. Then get points for where you finish. Add them all up and that is what the team got for points.

Individual league is just finishing and receiving your individual points.

There are many things that could be done, but that depends on the interest level first. That is why we are trying to figure out who has the game and wants to be in a league. Then we need to figure out who is going to run it ( Not it! ) and then I'm sure all members can get together with idea's to make it fun for everyone.

 

I agree with you there, but I think one of the vets here that has ran a league here before should be in chage of runnig the league

I watch it on TV, but as in terms of gaming with it....definitely put me on the casual list Car tweeking is not a specialty of mine....I need to learn. Does this game actually teach you any of this?
