Any news on the whether they improved the online play or int's? The unresponsive online play just about killed the league for me last year. Course last year was my first year in the league, so for all I know it could always be like that.
I still don't know how they can get NHL to run smoothly (when it worked) and NCAA not. Madden ran smooth as butter.
i believe that has been confirmed blaudawg.. i believe with 12 users can go into a dynasty and play for 60 seasons with scouting and signing and all that jazz.. we could almost create a league here like that
Thats a hell of an idea. Because we have to face it, in the NCAA league there isn't the following that we have here for other leagues, including Madden. I'm sure 12 of the most hardcore of us would do that for several seasons. Interest always seems really high at first, then people drop off when Madden comes around.
If the online is smooth and fixed, I'd be up for that. Sounds very interesting and puts a new twist on online leagues.
Or maybe have a hybrid. Vets for the dynasty only, and give others a shot with a regular, smaller season by season league.
the only problem with the dynasty is that its only 12 ppl and you would have to play some cpu opponents sometimes.. which is fine by me.. maybe if everyone is in one conference or something..
can you put 12 different teams into one conference. like a conference consisting of ohio st, usc, florida st, lsu, notre dame, and michigan? i had read where this was mentioned but wasnt sure if its just a myth.
We could get 3 guys in like 4 different conferences .. that alone would make for a good wind up to the bowl games.. and championship... I know I would like to stay in the MWC or BIG 12.. That would probably give us the matchups we're looking for at the end of the season.
This isn't in concrete or anything, but I would think we would run the league as normal and then run a test league on the dynasty thing first to see how it works and what it is really about. Then we can have something a little more formal. Just the thoughts on it right now. They way the league usually goes, I can see the second season being a full blown dynasty season if there aren't any major drawbacks.
Sorry JBagg.. but this is what I was saying.. .. You have 12 teams to fill i believe by the limit on the dynasty... If you put everybody in one conference you run the risk of the Champion having to play a CPU team for the BCS championship.. IF you split everybody up you have 4 individual races in each conference and then everybody will probably be in a bowl game against each other (Hypothetically..).. Including a shot at the BSC Title for the True Champion.. So you get a playoff as such to determine the winner.. Just a thought.. Sorry took so long to post.. The only thing I see that is different is just not having to worry about stats...Woowhooo
Just finally got around to reading this article, one of the coolest things it mentioned was "One more bit: All 12 players will be able to voice chat simultaneously with one another while taking care of their various in-game tasks for that week of the dynasty." About time we finally get more then just 2 people chatting.
I would definitely be down for an lg dynasty. This is the feature I have been waiting for for years. With 12 guys, there will be many games against cpu. which allows guys to get games in at their own pace which will help speed the dynasty up and make the BCS more wide open. games against other players can be manually scheduled in the con conf scheduling as well. if EA doesnt have any bugs in the dynasty, it could really open things up for a lot of fun.
