Hey everyone- I'm brand new here.. so I'm really just looking for some tips and pointers and introduce myself. I've played NHL since at minimum 2001 (not counting NHL 94 when I was too young to even realize what I was doing). I've played every game since, and have become pretty solid at the game. I live out in Denver, CO - and am just breaking the ice in streaming. I'm 28, and a marketing director by trade, but work from home every Wednesday through Friday and play regularly. I play on XBOX like most people here I think, but I'm really interested in finding a club/team to join and try to get into the season 31 (that's the next one.. right?). Looking for help here: 1. How can I get on a team? How does that process work? 2. If anyone is looking for a C or Winger, that's what I'm best at but can pick up D no problem if needed. 3. What are the league levels.. are there lower/higher leagues, how does that work? Thanks in advance. My gamertag is below for anyone who wants to add me: I Ricky Rozay I -RR
I will actually be the nice one to tell you that the first thing you need to do is sign up. Then after that you get randomly assigned to a chl training camp. From there at least from when I was there, it's up to you to prove to your owner that you belong on the roster. So my advice is once you get assigned, message them and get some scouting games going to see if you can crack the lineup. If you do, you must play a full season in the chl to be eligible for the nhl draft. Once the draft is over, if you're drafted you'll be on an nhl team or sent down to their ahl team to further your skills. Then from there it's basically just playing club and getting noticed by the right people and getting your name out there. That's pretty much what you need to know in a nutshell. Hope it helps, welcome to the community!
Thanks for the replies all. Absolutely helps. Hope to see you all out there! Gritty (deesa) - I’ll add you tonight or tomorrow.
