Hi LG friends and enemies and people who consider me irrelevant (more washed than anything) I developed a website for my friend’s not-for-profit company, GameChanger Workshop. It focuses on educating youth athletes on healthy communication and establishing a positive culture, allowing them to be a GameChanger within their teams and communities by teaching them transferable skills that can be used in both sport and life. As some of you may coach youth teams, this could be worth checking out! teamgamechange.com Fun fact: My friend is Jordan DeKort, former OHL and Canada U17 goalie
Logo in top left corner is unreadable due to the background image. A lot of grammatic errors litter the page and make it appear very unproffessional. You should always have someone scrutinize your work before a release. You should also read through it out loud to yourself slowly to help eliminate mistakes.
Thanks for the feedback, we did have someone review but I guess the owner went thru and changed some things and made those mistakes after. If you can let me know where you see the mistakes so I can correct them I’d appreciate that
"All done by a trained facility and former semi-professional athlete" Change your nav bar to white or stroke an outline of a lighter color around it. User experience on a website can make or break people staying for more than 10 seconds. If i have to spend my time trying to figure out what the navbar says im probably just gonna move on. Also saying things like Still Not Convinced is redundant and actually is counter intuitive to what you are trying to do. When you make someone read something like "still not convinced?" they are more than likely going to agree with not being convinced and move on.
Thank you! The nav bar is white with the exception of the home page. All the copy was written by the founder and I plugged in what he wanted and designed it around that. I’ll definitelty give him that note and see if he wants to make appropriate changes!
That is the home page, every other page the nav bar is white. Just repositioned the image so it is readable now
