Anything will be better than the next gen piece of shit they call a hockey game.

 

Who cares, the game is gonna suck.

I'm so excited. Sounds like really some awesome and cool improvements. Heck yeah.

 

I'll reserve judgement until I hear about the auto-dekes being optional or gone completely.

Also need to add DAVE MODE: Your guy automatically scoots back on-side after offensive zone faceoffs when you fall asleep

 

If thats real, the way its written makes it seem like you can't use created players unless you're in club, which is stupid. Everyone doesn't have 6 people all the time to play club, and NHL teams in OTP is a horrible experience.

 

Hopefully EASHL is actually back so I can actually be involved again.

i think they are finally admitting player skill had nothing to do in any game before nhl 16

 

I hope centers aren't pigeonholed into 1 class because of faceoff stats.

 

Removing the attribute caps would eliminate this. I like they point costs the way they are for the most part. It would be cool if they made the sniper build a little better with the puck.

 

This issue could also go the other way - let's say you want to use a two-way forward build at left wing, but the two-way forward build has 90 faceoffs - now you're stuck with tons of wasted points on an attribute that you'll barely use.

The faceoff attribute shouldn't exist for online created players anyway, but I'm skeptical as to whether EA can figure that out.

Eliminating user builds is a step in the right direction though. Anything that makes the outcome of the game depend more on gameplay skill and less on meta knowledge is a good thing. Even if EA botches it, the fact that they're aware and making an effort is promising.

 

does this mean otp will only be with NHL players and that personalized user players will only be for eashl? If that's the case, does that mean LG games would be done via club challenges in eashl?

I'll wait until I see gameplay but I feel as if goaltending was ignored or barely touched once again. I hope I'm wrong, though.
