So I’m going to preorder nhl 19 tonight but can’t decide on standard, legends, or ultimate. I’m on the fence for hut because last year cards came out so often it wasn’t really worth the money to buy packs. I also have no clue what the world of Chel customization gear is(didn’t play the beta). So I was looking for opinions and to see what everyone else is doing.
I'm getting the legends edition for the 3 days early access cause I can't wait any longer! Last year with that bundle I got Patrick Kane 88 first pack at launch then evo MacKinnon 99 overall and a bunch of others so it was worth it to me. The world of chel gear is prolly cool but u can unlock lots of it anyway by playing 1v1v1
And 10 more hut packs 20 instead of 10 Plus a couple random hut things and a piece of customization gear for world of chel
Step 1. Preorder the most expensive game with a prepaid credit card from EBgames or Gamestop. Step 2. Get the free shit and have the charge decline then buy the normal game. Step 3. Profit
The difference between the Legend Version and the Ultimate Version is about 30 dollars which that 30 dollars gives you 20 packs. (over 2 weeks i believe) That being said the upgrade really only benefits people who intend to play HUT. The price of purchasing packs on NHL is about 3$ per pack upgrading to Ultimate edition gives you an additional 20 packs for 1.50$ so you save a little money there, but some may argue that waiting 2 weeks for your packs could be less beneficial then saving that money and just opening a bunch of packs on release.
