The way I see it .. they made a statement that they want the Calder. Their NHL team is on route to being shy of a playoff spot so why not try and win something within your orginization. Just means harder competition to get through for other teams in the west and a little bragging rights if you're the team that beats them in a 7 game series . Looking forward to what's ahead!

Everyone is mad because Columbus threw in the towel first and sent down their NHL players. Once the playoffs start and NHL teams are eliminated from the start to end you will see NHL players coming down to other teams as well making some really good AHL teams. Rosters in the AHL will only get stronger from here on out. Bring on the challenge

You are so right bud. This has by far been my worst season. I'm so thankful to watch my forwards do everything for me. It's like, I do nothing at all!

Two of the players moved had been on our team for 1 and 2 weeks, respectively. Not quite a "grind". Care was given to 1. send these players that play with one another outside of LG together and not split them up and 2. send them to a team that now has a strong chance at a playoff berth. Wasn't aware that we weren't allowed to make trades at the deadline...

I can also say that prior to our game, we actually matched up against the Wolves for our warm up game. Afterwards, the main comments being made in party chat were that this was going to be a good close game but let's get the W again. There are other ways to motivate your team than by insulting others. People should focus on taking care of themselves instead of tearing down others.
