Non-BCS Dynasty Offseason Yr. 2

nice, good job. So far, havent nailed down a 5-star, but have gotten at least 1 4-star in each year. This year I got a 4-star tackle, qb, and wr.

 

I still have nothing but 1 and 2 star guys. Started trying to recruit the others waaaay to late in the game for this class. Hopefully, I can nail down a couple next season. Only problem is, my grades suck so bad on everything, that will be hard to do.

 

My grades suck too... I got a couple of C+'s and a couple of B's... Moved up to a 3* last seaon, but my grades didn't improve as much as I thought they would... Won the conference this year, so I'm thinking I should gain in a bunch of area's this preseason... I got a 4* RB & MLB last year, got another 4* MLB and in on a couple of 4* CB's & a SS... and my 5* DT... should show some improvements in my D !! I'll focus on offense next year.. Had freshmen RB's & QB's this year ... they did pretty well...

Rice did really well in rceruiting, bagging eight 4* players. But the down side is that it has become clear to me that I will very, very likely have to start as many as 9 FRESHMEN this season including my entire back-7 on defense (save one Senior CB)...

Here's where the bobcats stand: Return top senior QB and sophomore RB, with a freshman QB of the future set for next year. However, there are no stellar WR's, a lot of mediocre ones in the high 70s overall. Line is solid. On the defensive side, it seems like we will have to recruit heavily at the CB position, as there were many, but none eclipsing the 75 overall mark. A converted safety will start at CB this season.

 

Schedule request: 7 home games, I only had 5 last year, just trying to even it up... Arkansas (at home if possible).. Kent State, if he wants to play again.. We had a good game last year... Open with a non 1-aa cupcake.. (new mexico, new mexico st, wyoming..)... Ranked team (20-25)?? .... hmmm.. am I sounding to needy??? LOL

I want the softest non-conference schedule I can get. My conference schedule is going to be tough for us as it includes the annual cross-town rivalry matchup with the defending National Champs. Even though I'll be starting a whole bunch of guys who were playing under the Friday Night Nights last year, we still want to get 10 wins. A bakery non-conference schedule (cupcakes and creampuffs) would be appreciated.

 

I am impartial to whoever is put on my schedule. I just would prefer a decently tough line of opponents while still avoiding a team like Fla.

 

Guys, some news: due to the massive snowstorm in the mid-atlantic, I am curently without power until what looks like late sunday or monday. I am staying at a friends house who has power. I will let you know when I get back and am able to advance.

 

I got power back this morning, so I have advanced to cutting players. Will advance tomorrow night, but if possible, try and complete tonight. If everyone is done tonight I will advance.

Actually, I believe we do have one. Which team would you like? I would prefer a WAC or MAC team, but anything is fine.

 

Yesterday was completely busy for me. Please let me get mine in. I can do that tonight and will send you a message as soon as I get it done here in the forums. Since it doesn't take much time, I will do that as soon as I get home tonight.
