Season Summary

• Courses and conditions for each week will be pre-determined and must be used in your match up. You can view the season schedule here ->
• Match ups will be played in a "Custom Match" setting, which will allow you to set the specific course and conditions for the rounds.
• You have 7 days to complete the 1 round. Any rounds not completed on time will not be counted.
• You must use your own created golfer. You will want to have your golfer's ratings as high as possible to compete, but is not required.

Game Play Rules

• First and foremost, we will follow the unwritten rules of golf. For example, there will be no chipping on the green. Also, "pin banging" which is chipping at the pin as hard as you can, is not allowed. In the 07 game if you hit the pin, no matter how hard you hit it, the ball would fall in the hole 99% of the time. This may or may not be the case in 09. Lets just use the proper club selection when appropriate. This is meant to be a fun SIM league, lets try not to take the fun out of it for the other players.
• 
  If your opponent runs out of time in the pause menu, give him more time, within reason.
• 
  "Hesitation" shots, (i.e. holding your back swing for several seconds to decrease the power of your swing), are not allowed, as this is similar to 3-clicking in that you can accurately hit a partial percentage every time.

Online Issues

• 
  If the lag in a game is too bad, you must immediately restart your game. If the lag continues, the game needs to be rescheduled at a later time. If an owner is consistently having lag issues, that owner will be asked to fix the problem or will be removed.
• 
  If during a game, you or your opponent's connection is lost at any time, the round must be replayed. It would be a good idea to record your scores at the turn (after hole 9), so that in the case of a disconnection, you only have to replay the Back 9.
• 
  All disconnections for any reason must be reported to the league. If an owner is showing a tendency of disconnects when losing, he will be removed. Purposely disconnecting during a match will not be tolerated.

Scheduling

• There will be a scheduling thread to make challenges and scheduling days and times. One scheduling thread for Singles Tour, and one thread for Doubles Tour.
• You must play at least one course per week. Failure to do so, may lead to removal from the league. But never fear, there will be chances to make up games at a later date and time, just dont make a habit of it. If for what ever reason you cannot make a game for the week, please let either Caniacfan86 or DemonSpawn78 know ahead of time and we will work with you on it.
• Any team / or single player (Depending on the league) can play/challenge any other team or single player for the week. Team / single matchups will not matter so much, we are looking for final scores, not win loss vs that opponent. See Scoring for more details.
• Odd man/team out - Currently we have an un-even amount teams/singles players. In this case you can pair up with either another team, or a single person (Even in doubles) so that we can have someone observe your scores and be sure that the there is no discrepancy in score input for that round. This will elimnate teams playing by themselves and inputing a score that may be or not be true.

• After a match has been played, the players GT, hole by hole score, and total round score will be either submitted to DemonSpawn78 VIA PM or, it will be inputted into a google spreadsheet provided by DemonSpawn78 (This could be temporary if we get scoreboard support, but for now this is how it will be) If there is no scorebaord support, there will still be stast and standings stickied to the main forum for your viewing pleasure with detailed graphics and such. (This is why scores must be submitted to myself)

From my understanding you only use your created player. However I didn't see it anywhere but I hope there is a rule against Bunny suits and the other suits that give you max attributes.

 

Agreed. The Bunny Suit, Spaceman Suit, and Las Vegas Elvis suit thing should be disallowed. However the Nascar helmet and things of that nature which only give you a +2 boost of attributes should be allowed.

 

i think all golfers should have to wear normal golfing attire...nascar helmets viking helmets etc.... should be out of play.... i do believe that every clothing type has a +2 item(s) so it shouldnt be a problem

that should be changed to fourball....... that is the doubles game..match play is for 2 only
