Trying to get opinions on tv sizes for gaming on NHL, and to see what some of you guys use. I used to play on a 32” and nowadays I play on a 65”, I don’t notice any difference really other than size of characters.....help me out lol
TVs suck for competitive gaming. Huge TV's can have more than 50ms response times on top of your ping in game.
I still play on a TV, you can get some excellent TVs that have 7-10ms input lag with under 1ms response time but those are going to cost you well over $1k. Let me know if you are interested in a TV like that and I'll list the good ones. Typically people like to get monitors for NHL, if you don't care about pictures/colours then a TN panel gives the best input lag, VA panels give a mix of both picture and input lag and is best in a dark room, and IPS panel is usually the better picture with usually worse input lag and is best in a bright room. 24 inches is usually the sweet spot for 1080p, 27 inches for 1440p, 32 inches+ for 4k. I'd recommend at least 60hz+ if you want a monitor, you could go for 120hz+ if you'd like to futureproof for the next gen consoles coming out. I usually use RTINGS.com and even Reddit to look at reviews on specific monitors
