Great selections guys, congrats to all chosen. Are owners going to be selecting AHL mgt right away or waiting to see if sign ups increase the next week or two?

 

I know this is late to say but looks like a solid group of I owners I personally think. This should be interesting that's for sure.

 

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Thanks for the opportunity to get back into the game. I can't wait to see what the season brings, and the competition level should be through the roof.

Number one he was being sarcastic. Number two, there was -9 favoritism used in ownership selections. I know for a fact staff reached out to multiple LG owners who have had constant success as owners in the league (LG). However, they didn't want to do ownership. I'm going to keep saying this over and over again, if we want this thing to work, we can't have this kind of attitude. We realize this still is your league just as much as it is our league and that we are lucky Tris and ozzy let us come over. That said, trust site staff. They picked the 30 best owners to field competitive teams in S17.

 

Yeah there's really not much else we can do. We were specifically recommended a couple of owners consistently from the "pre merger" LG community, but neither had signed up for ownership. We were by no means required to reach out to them, but seeing as they are respected members of this community and touted as good owners, we did our due diligence and hit them up asking if they were interested. Both respectfully declined and we moved on in the process. I really don't know what else to say at this point. Can't please everyone.
