Been dealing with packet loss the past 2 days between 1-4% any ideas on what’s wrong? I was fine before this, never dealt with it before. Anyone else dealing with this?
This probably isn’t the answer if it is happening to a lot of people, but in the past, clearing your alt MAC address would usually get you a few games without the packet loss.
If you have packet loss with other games it could be an issue with your network/hardware or your ISP. If you have other EA games like Apex, you can check packet loss at the start menu.
Open these ports on your router with port forwarding : TCP: 3074,10000-10150,42127 UDP: 88,500,3074,3544,3659,4500,6000,10000-10150 I play on 3-5 ping on East coast and 30-35 on West Coast 0% packet loss
30-35 on west? I call bullshit (unless you're referring to the old way ping was displayed). That's probably the central server. If it's legit please link all your network hardware. I've got fibre and all that and get 60-70 cross country.
You get 30-35 on west while getting 3-5 on east? That's the unbelievable part. I don't see how that's possible simply due to distance.
Im going to give you some extremely helpful information to save yourself some time. I want you to look very close at @Modemizer name and see if you can break it down. Once you can, just know he does this for a living. The dude isnt going to lie over some nhl connection my man. He knows more than probably 99% of this website when it comes to anything network or server related
Okay cool. I still want to know what he has to say. It'd be a big help. I've never heard of anyone having 30-35 ping from east to west in the NHL community, didn't know it was possible. @Modemizer
