There are a lot of league wide hated players, but Nav has been one of the good ones in my short stint with Col. I guess he's one of those everyone wants to play with but not against. Playoff teams or playoff lines? Washingtons a playoff team and look at the dumpster fire their other line was. Everyone throws this statistic around and itll no doubt come up with awards. People should look into the bones of this statistic if theyre going to throw it out there.

 

We are including quality of lines faced this season, in some form. Still trying to figure out the best way of doing that

 

It really, really sucked - and it's not scalable - but I took the total win % of all 5 skaters that anze/Giroux faced in each game last season for the Calder race. I think if you get a few people willing, you could do that for specific trophy races.

 

We should also factor in players quitting in the first period and forcing teams to forfeit the remainder of the game

I'm one of your supporters here, and I dont blame you at all for playing home games. But nobody should sit there and let you pad stats while 6 people are stuck in 110 ping pylon status. Shits just dumb.

 

The only way you can do this is to take the win/loss record of every single opponent played at seasons end. So if the combined record of every single person you faced is 1450 wins and 1250 losses that's a +200 win/loss differential of opponents faced (WLDOP) It should also factor in win/loss of every linemate played with. That value would have to be factored in some capacity as well. Way too much work unless you can get a good programmer to implement a system
