Unless I'm mistaken Indigo is a fan of the Lions and was happy to get them. My point was only that if you have a bad team that you have no allegiance to and suffer through seasons with and then you receive a more talented team you should be able to reap those benefits. EQ would negate those benefits.

Anyway, whatever Shush decides is cool with me.

I'll say "ON". I really didn't see anything about the game that was drastically different. I know that when Shush and I played with EQ on, the game was a lot closer. With it off, he didn't do nearly as well offensively. On, his running game seemed to be helped some so it's not just on the defensive side of the ball that EQ affects. I think the reason people are having different results from using it is because it affects the same team differently depending on the team they are playing. I do agree that some people don't want to give up any advantage they have with their team though that's obviously not the call with some.

Sorry man, I'm messing with you. Actually it stands for Equalizer I think. The idea behind it is to make both teams have the same overall team rating to make negate the advantage one team may have over another. There is a huge debate on how well this works.

I still think we should have it off. I mean thats why we picked teams. Wouldn't be fair to someone who luckily got the Ravens to all of a sudden have an "average" D. I mean you can still beat the Eagles with the Lions...its all about playcalling. If we use EQ than it would make it so that you wouldn't have to have as much skill. I mean I know some people who could use the best team in the game and lose 58-0.....so just because some people have bad teams doesn't mean they will go 0-16. If they give a damn they will try harder and probably do pretty good.

 

i never said anything about changing my mind. I just thought it was interesting for some to find out how EQ works coming from one of the developers of nfl 2kx(i didnt know how it worked until now).
