Potential for dual NFL leagues (ESPN & Madden)

Ted just get Madden. You'll probably still dominate it too

if i have a choice i will play in Madden and not in ESPN, ESPN has really dissappointed me the PASS D is so incredibly horrible

Nobody likes playing those madden gimps anyway.
They give up such huge numbers it makes the stats unrealistic.

 

Well I dno, if MP is willing to convert, then you should give it a good try also in my opinion. I mean honestly, I didn't think we would have the slightest chance that MP would be coming over and buying it

 

Oh Im buying it but the only way Im not playing in the ESPN league is if there isnt one.

I mean seriously, how different from that hunk of monkey sh*t ncaa 2005 could madden be?

We don't want players who want to be in the "main" league. There is no main league, there will be an ESPN league and a Madden one. I hope everyone plays with the game that they enjoy the most, so we don't have to hear any whining about gameplay all season if you prefer another game but don't want to be in that league just because alot of veteran owners are in the other one.

 

I like both games. How many times I gotta say this... lol

Besides there wont be a full ESPN league... I dont even think there are 32 people here who have the game lol

Now that Madden is out (we WILL be doing a Madden league, minimum), can we get a show of hands from members that wish to have an ESPN NFL league still? Maybe do some sort of a informal headcount/signup in the NFL Players lounge to see who wants to play ESPN still instead of jumping ship to the new Madden startup Season 1 league we will be heading up.

 

Good idea but do it in this forum, there are some people who arent current members of the NFL league that are interested in joining.

I hope to play alot of Madden this week and make a decision.

That's not what we're asking. We'll have plenty of people interested in Madden, but we need to see if there enough interest in ESPN NFL as well to see if bothering with dual leagues is worth getting all of that organized or if we should just use Madden only and figure ESPN-only fans will use the online leagues feature.

 

Well since you said there will be a Madden league, that cancels any interest I had in ESPN. I was actually going to re-purchase it shall we decide on only an ESPN league.

But thanks Jon, I didn't think I would see the day that this great game would be used here.

A question for you though, if everybody from ESPN league agrees to switch over to Madden, would everybodies team switch over as well, or despite everybody switching, would their be a draft?

 

We've gone over that already. The Madden league would be completely redrafted, Season 1, ESPN league or not.

I shouldn't say it's definite on Madden, the game has only been out one day, and anything is possible so just hold your horses for now. Give it a week and we'll know more (for absolute sure) by next week at this time.
