Pre-season Power Ranking

1. Newcastle: Had a great week with some dominant performance. They have good chemistry and teamplay from D to fwd. Prime candidate to finish 3rd or 4th at end of year

2. Liverpool*: Had some dominant performance, executed well in the 3-5-2...some useless taunting by them against team with 7 or team with 5 tc playing... Casual stuff for the Under-18 virgin over there

3: Tottenham: Good chemistry, good team play....The bench is getting lil bit better...watch for them to create some surprise.

4: Chelsea: MidgetPro is the savior...give him the ball and pray...what will they do when he's in AVL... pray the LORD!!!

5: Sunderland. Deep team, havent used Jay and Rico much yet, they'll surprise

6: Hull City: They have a good core, Viva has been protecting the back 4 weel. They'll need the Lion King to show up and play

7: United: Some good performance, some bad...They can hit you quickly. Still a work in progress

8: QPR: Lot of egos, bad passing and Foley&Co has work to do. Can Kirito carry them offensivelly witht he solid DM they have

9: Serpenal: Both goalie played well...1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 they can't score, chemistry is not there but they've been using a lot of players and formation

10: Can City. Been a bad 1st week... Let's wish City discover a shutdown style to play some 1-0, 2-1 game

it's possible some teams have good player's in their TC, everyone uses "TC" like its a bad thing/word/insult lol... its not like your fielding 5, 68 overall cpu's or something lol

I'm absolutely offended the only person you mentioned was Viva!

I'm not allowed off the CB position unless I move to CDM! You can't talk about the back end protection without mentioning the 2 Avengers and Mountain back here. (Lets not talk about that Liverpool game though, all 11 of us were lagging I swear.) I rate this thread a 2/10, would not recommend.

 

I like this post but Liverpool is not number 2 in the rankings based off preseason. They are top 4 but not 2, I'll have 1. Newcastle 2. Chelsea 3. Tottenham 4. Liverpool.
If you look at the schedule they played they played against weak teams.( no offense to those teams).
I believe Chelsea had the hardest schedule and they played well, they have a great goalie and a solid midfield.
Newcastle has great attacking and solid defense but lack the midfield.
Can't say much about Liverpool cause I didn't play against them but looking at their schedule and the opponents they played they didn't impress me.

The team to watch for is QPR they started off slow but pick it up at the end of preseason. they have good cbs and a pretty good midfield.

 

QPR lost to Liverpool tho 1-0....

One man's opinion guys. Also, it was preseason. Hopefully TC guys were getting some looks to.

 

Always going to have dissenters and glad to see that J0ff and DiLo have taken some initiative and provided their comments. Clearly J0ffrey has a high fiber diet and drinks plenty of water compared to DiLo as his time on the can appears to be quicker. That said, appreciate both their write-ups. J0ffrey and DiLo both have strong opinions and know the player pool, so I'll personally give more weight to their comments than I would to the folks with less than a dozen total posts who generally show little initiative in helping improve the league experience for users outside of their own team management, at best.

That is not a personal dig at anyone, just noting that instead of being a dissenter or telling people that they should stop, a better approach might be showing a little initiative of your own, coming up with an idea and then making it happen.

I for one encourage conversation and am glad that some people have started these. Looking forward to a few of us on the BOG and elsewhere working on the TOTW items, weekly previews and other items.
