You realize your State representatives played a part in that passage as well right? When it comes to our Nation's defense, I want Bush driving the bus.
:!: ?? Why, the only thing he did right in his term is how he handled his respond on Afganistan (gathering a coalition and support, although that was mainly Colin powell). Other then that i can't see how he's done anything right, He turned a budget surplus into a record deficit (this was before sept 11th). Your a rep. right Shush? Stick with your man no matter what eh
Tris I was talking about our House & Senate. Bush doesn't just come up with a law and put it in place. We have a system "of the people." My comment was directed at woob suggesting Bush is solely responsible for his alleged violation of privacy. It's not a matter of sticking with my man. It's a matter of sticking with my country. I believe my country is safer with a Republican President.
I'd never vote for Dub-Yuh...he's an ignorant SOB. The only reason we went to war with IRAQ is that he wanted to finish what Daddy started. There are no alleged WMD in Iraq, there is no link between Saddam and Al-Quida. Dub-Yuh is a straight up liar. When the Security Council warned of a terrorist attack against the US, he said "no way...we need to concentrate on Saddam". Say goodbye to Dub-Yuh...Kerry 2004
Oh Shush...that's ridiculous. You didn't see the US being attacked when Clinton was in office. One thing I remember hearing...think it was Gore that said it. "If you want to live like a Republican, vote for a Democrat." The only thing good that's come of Dub-Yuh's term in office is the lower interest rates...and that was a double-edged sword.
What's wrong with hating war? He served in quite possibly our countries greatest "lost cause" whereas Bush pretty much never did anything. I think it's safe to vote someone in who has a real sense of what's going on rather then someone who seems to live in a false reality. I can't believe it's 11-4 right now that is just rediculous.
very very good point! Kerry was also grew up in a military base in Germany and has a real sense of the international community and how important it is for America, where as bush can't find europe on the map
You are aware that after Kerry came back from that unfortunate war, that he sat on the lawn with that C*nt Hanoi Jane Fonda and protested the war and threw his medals away, basically dishonoring all the men who fought & died in that war! Sorry just doesn't fly for me!
The real crime here is only 1 vote for Monty Brewster. Do you guys know who that is? A true American!
First off he shouldn't have even been there. Second he was young and had just gotten out of a shitty situation, a really shitty situation at that. I think he's learned so much more from those years then Bush will ever learn.
Only thing Dub-Yuh did during the Vietnam War was party it up in college. I'll take a true Veteran anyday over a pansy ass draft dodger.
to be honest, i think thats completely the oppasite of dishonoring those who died. I know if i had a son and he died for a war that i didn't believe in, i would like to filter my anger at those who sent them there. Kerry believied in his country, faught for it and his country let him down.
Yes I realize that but no way was the House and Senate going to veto his bill that was in response to the 9/11 attacks, regardless of what it said. They had to do something quick and not let it get caught up in the red tape for a long time. So Bush muscled it through the house and senate criticizing anyone who opposed it as unpatriotic or as a terrorist. The Patriot Act is not a good thing for anyone of us...
