Pro series 2 recruitment thread

Hi my name is Big Fifty, these days I mostly play Center but I have played defense before. I have a lot of heart, my mom sews a C onto all of my t-shirts that I wear. I want internet hockey friends and have $10.

 

Me and Obnoxious are looking for a team.

Separately or together. We suck alone though.

Don't think my club is going into this, so I'll be looking for a team. Playing goalie and will pay for my own buy-in.

 

I doubt my club will be joining so I'm down to join another team. I'm looking to be a sub because I don't have enough time at the moment to commit to a starting position.

Positions I can play are G and RD. I am an inconsistent but solid goalie overall that managed to remain in the top 10 in save percentage for the majority of S17, so I shouldn't have any problems fitting in as a solid backup. As for my defensive skill set, I can and have held my own on and against top clubs in the past. As of right now, overall, I am simply decent and nothing more.

For those still without a team and looking to play, don't be scared to throw together a team and have fun. A lot of players that didn't participate last season will tell you that club pretty much died while this was going on. You might not have the strongest team but it's only 10 dollars and you will at least have fun for a couple months instead of matching up with random scrubby teams.

 

Agreed with this guy. This tourney was definitely by all means worth the 10 bucks last season fellas and with Nuge and the gang past there Beta season I'm sure this is season is going to be nothing but better and more competitive than last season.

 

I agree with ReplayNub on this one, The Pro series was a great experience and with more guys allowed on the team to increase activity it will be even better. Dont be left out of this because there wont be much club left to play. With all these free agents you could forum another 3 or 4 teams so lets go a lot of great players still out there.

Sneaky move to get people to give away their money. The tourney is only fun when you have a competitive team to compete against these good teams.

 

It's not like you match up against the few "top" teams every time you play. If you want to play against decent teams that are competitive you should join, if you want to nub bash the random clubs that play when this series is going on do that. There's nothing sneaky about it.

 

Last time I checked Flipped you have a great team, and with NHL 14 any team can have a better night. We beat the defending champs last night and we had a random line that hasnt had time to build chemistry but they did great. It just goes to show anyone can have the better game. Its a big whopping 10 dollars a person to have A LOt more fun playing competitively. Or as Kev said you can sit around and play bad kids all night, ur call.
