Pro Series Single Day Champions

Congrats to Heavy Cycle and their owner @chikajitsudo for winning due to Never Unlucky not having their official rosters entered by 12:12AM. I would suggest getting in contact with [MENTION=4]Tris10[/MENTION] to claim your prize.

It's unfortunate that the winners are determined due to a technicality, but the rules are the rules and it would raise a lot of concerns about the integrity of the league if this wasn't upheld.

Good luck to everyone that will be participating in the Pro Series that starts next Sunday.

I didn't "get" anyone. I'm just making everyone aware of the rules so that all teams can be treated fairly, and new teams aren't scammed out of their hard earned money.

We didnt change our roster after the deadline, @JHannah7 likes to start trouble for no reason. I made the edit to say that there were only 3 teams in the tournament despite the hope that we'd get 4-8 teams at minimum.

EDIT: I meant CST, so 11:12PM. Right Mark?

I'd say that if you can prove that you didn't change your roster then you should win, it just seems pretty fishy that you would edit your roster just to write that there were only 3 teams signed up.

In game we were beat. If everything was set up legit, cool, whatever. Be nice if someone just reviewed it to make sure its on the up and up.

 

It was on the up and up, only issue is the time edited, which was 12 minutes after the deadline (assuming the deadline is in EST) just saying that there were only 3 rosters in. Roster was in on time initially, I should have made a new post, but didnt because I was actually planning on canceling the tournament if there were less than 4 teams, but decided to let it run so we could get some sort of meaningful EASHL games in.

Hopefully you guys dont take this like Im trying to sneak something by you, the games were fun and its not like I did anything to gain any sort of advantage.

Also deadlines are now in central time as per [MENTION=6628]JHannah7[/MENTION]'s personal request.

For the integrity of the site and transparency. I'm not here to judge or even get involved but people can make their own interpretation. I'm just going to say "I meant CST, so 11:12PM" after the fact, if not a joke could be a detrimental.

Rules have been broken!

 

I honestly thought I had raynor as cat sandwiches in there already. Did it give us an unfair advantage? No, but if they want to claim the victory im fine with that.

If I had access to admin stuff I could have checked but unfortunately I don't have that power.

 

Why would the roster deadline be CST when it's not specified?
Not only is EST the default time zone used on the website, but game times are specified in EST.
For example:

  [*=left]"Round 1: Games begin at 2:00 PM EST with a 10 minute cushion, if game 1 isnt started by 2:10PM EST a forfeit may be called."

As per Ozzy's post a player was indeed added to the roster after the deadline.

For the integrity of the site and future pro series, NxU should be disqualified for violating the official rules and regulation of the "First Ever Single Day Tourney", which were finalized by [MENTION=6796]NugeTV[/MENTION] well in advance of the tournament. (Last edited by NugeTV; 10-10-2014 at 07:06 PM.).
The changing of rules by the tournament host after being finalized to benefit his own team will result in others questioning what other rules would be broken without punishment in future pro series events.
All teams in the tournament are expected to know the rules and abide by them.

If Nuge feels the need to dispute the rules, he must discuss it with the tournament committee as stated in the rules itself.

"Tournament Committee members can offer assistance with issues however final decisions on disputes will be made in group discussions so one committee member saying something does not mean that is the official stance of the Pro Series."

Congrats [MENTION=8094]chikajitsudo[/MENTION] and Heavy Cycle for winning the Inaugural Single Day Tourney.

I sincerely hope there are more of these to come as the competition and intensity was at an all time high. All the teams that participated had a great chance to win and there was a buzz in the community that has been missing for a long time.

While it is unfortunate that the tournament was tainted by a team violated the rules, thank you [MENTION=6796]NugeTV[/MENTION] for a great tournament.

 

The CST was a joke directed a mark when I thought I posted everything on time.

 

Question is their away to tryout for a team by any chance?
