Nhl 94 controls really are a factor

 

Draft day and tax day! Could the 15th of April get any better?

 

did look at him. the moose almost made it in to the playoffs yet he was 9-17-1 with -19 +/-. no doubt @DanielEPS will get drafted but not on my top list.

 

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Depends on who you play woth as its a team game. I was paired w a TC defense all year most of which arent even on the roster as they were demoted in the final few weeks of our playoff push. A closer examination of the last two weeks where some talent was put around me is a much better representation of who I am as a player. During that stint I went 5-2 with 21 points and a plus rating. Don't even get mr started on 16-4 loss where I put up a hatrick and 4 points.

I wasn't the one who made the shout out. Besides if
my stats are going to be brought in to consideration I'm going to at least provide some context to them. Looking at numbers is not the only way to measure a players worth. An eyeball test is also required. I think thats where @nyBARISny is coming from when he gave the shout out.

Not sure how I made it up there with guys who are all in semis/finals or were dominant regular season teams and we didn't even make the playoffs.

Stats are probably the worst indication of player value to be honest (at the AHL level) because they can be completely misleading. There are just so many factors that can contribute to stats being inflated or not.

I am speaking from a GM/Owner point of view of course. With that said though, it doesnt mean stats are not valuable - it just means that you better be damn sure to do your homework and make sure that the player is truly represented by the stats.
