PS4 wireless headsets

Afternoon all, I am contemplating purchasing a decent wireless Headset. I am currently running Astro A40s wired.
Interested to hear the communities input on what would be the best wireless headsets available for the PS4 and their reasoning for their choice.
Let the debate begin. Look forward toeveryone’s ideas.

 

PS5 comes out soon so if you're going to invest, make sure it'll be compatible with that too. I have the Steel Series Arctic 7s and they're awesome. Worth the $150 for sure. I can hear footsteps in FPS with ease. And its wireless. I highly suggest.

 

once you play with astro's , you never go back to any other headset. Go for the A50s

Used to be an Astro guy, but since they got bought out, really dropped in quality.

I use the Steel Series Arctis Pro’s, but I really wanted the mix amp and the ability to change sound profiles/mic settings on the fly.

If you want a little cheaper, SteelSeries Arctis 7 is think around $150

 

I highly recommend any product from steelseries. Their high end models are amazing. Great comfortable design that doesn't bug my scalp like the pad on astros do. Went from arctis 5 a fairly low end model to astro a50's and i much prefered the sound quality of ttye much cheaper steelseries headset.

 

Arctis 7s are the way to go. I've recommended it to any one who will listen. On top of being one of the most comfortable headsets, their 24 hour battery life and litany of connectivity options make it a great choice,

 

I also said I wouldn’t use wireless anything when gaming... but I switched to a wireless mouse and absolutely love it. Best of luck in your search

 

I'm going to 3rd the Arctis 7's. My only regret is I didn't splurge for the Pros. If the 7's are this good I imagine the pros are even better.

Late to the party and I'm french so excuse my english, I have a question ;


If I want a headset on which I can adjust the game sound and my party sound separately, that doesnt cost me $400, any suggestions ? ATM I bought some Turtle Beach cause my old one had it, but on these new gens, I raise the game sound and hear my friend screaming in my ears, I cant focus.

PS Gold headset. If you're getting PS5 at/ near launch, get the new headset. I'm pretty sure it also has that feature.

I think it is sold out most places. They may have discontinued it, I'm not sure. I'd keep an eye out on Amazon and Bestbuy. Or pick up the new PS4 Headset.

 

Arctis 7. The battery life, super super comfortable, sound is pretty good, able to use on pc, durability (has lasted me 3+ years), mic sounds good.

 

I have the same headset. By far the best headset I bought. I recommend 100%

 

Buy Steel Series trust me, it is the best. I had turtle beach before.

 

To be fair, he wants on headset controls.
