Recent club challenge connection issues - Report them here! Also a potential solution

There have been several reports across several teams stemming from many different regions, all of which are reporting the same issue. Abnormally high ping (above their west coast average) and a 5-10% packet loss rate that cripples their ability to play the game.

Please, if you are experiencing any issues like the ones above in club challenge games put your name down here along with any other helpful information including but not limited to: Pictures/video of your in game connection, how long is has been an issue. Any similar issues on other game modes.

3.1 : Game Night Session Set Up

From the EASHL screen, the club challenge option shall be utilized. The home team is responsible for contacting their opponent to get the name of the club in which the opponent will be using for the scheduled league game.

If there is an issues with club challenge, the PIN System maybe utilized as well for official League Games.


There is obviously some kind of issue with the Club Challenge lobbies at this point in time, and it is ruining several games a night for the players who play (even if they aren't directly experiencing issues themselves). The PIN system worked fine in a test run for the Dallas/Chicago game last night. I suggest any teams having this issue to attempt a PIN game to see the results and hopefully we can use this as a temporary solution until the CC servers are fixed.

Recent issues? There's been problems since we started using club.

 

"until the CC servers are fixed" LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL like they're actually going to fix anything about this game.

but yeah from what I keep hearing, its the 9pm games especially that seem to be the biggest problem. Sadly, the game isn't very good to begin with, then adding absolutely ridiculous connections into the equation can make the game nearly unplayable.

maybe I shouldn't say anything bad about the game. after all, gary bettman could be watching!

 

Then maybe we should switch to the PIN games then?

 

Personally I've only had problems with the 9pms. 10pm/11pm have been normal

 

I still loose even if my connection is good.

 

The issue is apparent with club games and Drop-ins. It's clearly a problem with their dedicated servers. Whether you use PIN matchmaking or club, it's all the same thing.

 

I haven't been above 10-12 ping for a single LG game yet this season and when I'm captain everyone else on my team has solid connection, but other games where I'm not playing people have 60+ ping when playing against people on the same server region... Really don't know what the issue is.

I have government grade internet , no problems here

 

@LG McDonald can correct me if I'm wrong but all game modes use the same servers. The issues from last night were likely a general server issue and not CC-specific. All we'd accomplish by switching to CC is making a mess of the stats because we can't pull stats from drop-ins.

 

We should switch back to the PIN system. Everybody use the code "6969".

 

It's been the same issue for many over the past several weeks Winston. That was what I am trying to bring up.

 

EA COULD JUST FIX THEIR STUPID ASS GAME HOW ABOUT THAT

 

Rando search is the 6 and challenge is the 9.

 

I dont see it as a solution since EA doesn't have dedicated servers for any game mode. I think the pin system was fine for you guys because it was a 10:00 pm game and most connection issues seem to be happening at 9.

 

I agree with that, that is why there should be a game played at 9pm through the PIN to see if it solves the issue.
