League News Return of the World Cup

Hello LG, I am your new LGFA commissioner and I am happy to announce that the 4th LGFA World Cup is in the works and is on its way.

With the 2018 World Cup starting soon in Russia, soccer fans around the world look to represent their nations. Leech onto your 1/64th Spanish bloodline or help the United States qualify for at least the virtual World Cup and join us for the worlds most exciting sporting event in the world.

We are hoping to start the tournament near the end of June, but sign ups will determine when we can officially start, as we don't want to rush anything and head in unprepared.

The way the tournament will be run will be as follows:

- 8 Nations represented split into 2 groups of 4
- Each team plays everyone in their group twice
- All teams enter the knockout stage where it will follow a format of A1vsB4, B2vsA3, B1vsA4, A2vsB3
