Nah the real downfall was Cam stepping down

 

If you consider Vertical expansion by doing EPL, Chamionship, League 1, etc. im all for that. With promotion and relegation that would provide even the bottom of the standings teams something to play for, and i think it would cut down on the forfeits

 

it will work good imo because once it builds up the cup ties will be pretty cool. im sure the nhl could use some ahl vs nhl games too.

 

yeah but these are sim leagues. AHL and NHL teams dont play each other in real life. AHL are NHL's farm teams. While there is nothing like that in european/english soccer

 

im talking about from an ego perspective.

 

Example: EPL Team Liverpool FC. Within Liverpool FC there are the Liverpool U-21's, Liverpool U-18's (Academy). Each team competes in its own league. Liverpool FC being in EPL, U-21's in EPL U-21's and so on and so on. Each U team is under the older team with the EPL team being at the top.

There is also the Reserve Team. Set apart from the U21s and u18s because they arent in the academy but merely the back ups to the starters.

Incredibly difficult although it has worked in VFL, Vertically through Reserves set ups and Youth Academies is the newest approach there is offer. Especially with the influx we could see for a year from this site alone would make the most sense. A large amount of NHL based players coming over and working through the ranks learning the game at the same time.

 

yeah I guess people who are new to the sport might not understand the whole promotion/relegation thing. I could definitely see it happening in the future. Maybe give it a go on fifa 16? who knows
