S10 TOTW 2 Winners

Well, this is probably the latest I have posted a TOTW. Another interesting week to say the least, though the table looks closer and closer to a La Liga standings board. Still, we have some awards to hand out! There are no Honorable Mentions, as you can see, the TOTW was as clear as it comes when it came to the voting and no-one fit the requirements needed to be on it.

A good week for Goalkeepers, though I know the Wolfsburg contingency are probably wondering where the hell is @XioGSheppy , and I would be in that same side, but realistically, if you're only managing 1.5 saves a game, then the defense is really stepping up with keeping the shots away from your goal. As for Azevedo, the S8 TOTS Goalkeeper is showing his case for Golden Glove with an excellent week for not just his team, but for Bayern as they try to match Wolfsburg's pace.


LB: @alonzi401 - VFL Wolfsburg

2 GP: 5 INTs, 5/6 TKLs (83.3% Tackle Success %), 1 BLK, 8 Possessions Won/ 5 Possessions Lost, 2 Clean Sheets, 16/18 Passes Completed (88.8% Pass Completion %) [8.2 AMR]

The owner himself, who's looking the most likely to actually being an owner by not playing in many games still decides to show the league that he too can be talked among the elite here as he walks away with his first TOTW honors of the season. If he's able to keep @Wsheikh90 (last season's TOTS LB) to playing 2 league games and the cups, then you know he's still got it in him. Helenio Herrera would be proud at how Mike Alonzi is running the tightest of ships and winning with the greatest margin known to catenaccio standards, 1-0.


CB: @Devil_Clutch1 - VFL Wolfsburg

4 GP: 1 G, 12 INTs, 5/9 TKLs (55.6% Tackle Success %), 13 Possessions Won/ 15 Possessions Lost, 4 Clean Sheets, 4/7 Passes Completed (57.1% Pass Completion %) [8.1 AMR]

Another goal, 4 more Clean Sheets. This man is heading the stingiest defense anyone has seen in FIFA 20. It's incredible to be said, he accounts for 20% of the goals scored. The trade from FC Koln looks to have really benefited both teams and he's part of the reason why.


CB: @vivaelchelsea - FC Schalke 04

4 GP: 10 INTs, 4/5 TKLs (80% Tackle Success %), 17 Possessions Won/ 13 Possessions Lost, 1 Clean Sheet, 22/23 Passes Completed (95.7% Pass Completion %) [7.8 AMR]

On the team still looking for some sort of answer to the woes that is FIFA 20, he's done quite a job to help keep the games close. Expectations have been shot too high and the morale seems to wane, this guy still keeps fighting to show that the hopes for a surprise run is still there. There's still plenty of games left and you can never doubt a team, but it has to be sooner rather than later if there's any hope for a rebound.


RB: @j_carlos_44 - VFL Wolfsburg

4 GP: 6 INTs, 3/4 TKLs (75% Tackle Success %), 21 Possessions Won/ 11 Possessions Lost, 4 Clean Sheets, 29/34 Passes Completed (85.3% Pass Completion %) [7.6 AMR]

He was upset last week, understandably upset after the big snub out of TOTW 1. He cleaned up his act, didn't lose the ball as much and kept the Clean Sheet streak alive for Wolfsburg. You have to admit, his game this week was worthy of the TOTW, but that the 4 Clean Sheets played a better role for him this time around.

4 GP: 15 INTs, 10/13 TKLs (76,9% Tackle Success %), 24 Possessions Won/ 15 Possessions Lost, 4 Clean Sheets, 40/49 Passes Completed (81.6% Pass Completion %) [8.1 AMR]

They claimed he was a secret weapon, yet was given OTW honors by his management staff. He had to battle out the best DMs in the voting, but he's really that shield for the CBs the way he takes all the loose balls away from the opposition and recycles the play to his attackers. Wonder stuff for our OTW team!


CM: @CrazyAM-MO - Bayern Munich

4 GP: 2 G, 1 A, 65/85 Passes Completed (76.5% Pass Completion %), 3 Key Passes, 7/11 Shots on Target/ On Goal (18.2% Goals/ Shots on Goal %), 10 INTs, 6/16 TKLs (37.5% Tackle Success %), 10 Possessions Won/ 30 Possessions Lost [7.5 AMR]

Looks like he's back to the form that landed him a spot in the S9 TOTS 18 squad. His tenacity on the ball in the attack and his defense has surely saved his spot here for his new club at Bayern. It's looking like a trade well done for Bayern as he's helped the attack of @Respecognyze , @xBadr93 and @KevinSLB1302.


CM: @djalbanian - Bayer Leverkusen

One of the originals for the TC Games (More info to come in the coming future), he's had a bit of trouble finding a spot to start. It really does look like he's found a place home as he's showcased himself, Leverkusen putting it a trade to bring the guy in and now has an appearance in TOTW 2! Congrats buddy, I'm proud to see the level of work you've done and now it's only up if you want to break into the higher ranks!

Haha, this man here has been a recurring snub for TOTW voting since S9 TOTW 2. It's finally a relief to see him get the praise that he deserves, though I don't think he'll be using this card for his picture anytime soon.

As Leverkusen are rebuilding under the turmoil it has been through, it's grand to see that they have quite a bright spot, and in a pivotal position no less. Another dubbed OTW, he's making his case known for Rookie of the Year and this is how you get your name out there.

16 Million. I will say he's not solely carrying the team, but I am happy to see that he's helped elevate the play on the team that really haven't picked up the game til a few weeks prior to S10. Nevertheless, it's a good spot to see shine as they continue to grow together.
