James H. Ellery Memorial Award

The James H. Ellery Memorial Award is presented to an individual of the news media for outstanding media coverage of the American Hockey League.

We have revamped the awards this season and have a combination of manager voted awards, media team voted awards and community voted awards. James H. Ellery Memorial Award is one of those community voted awards and is presented to an individual in media with outstanding media coverage of the American Hockey League.

Personal performance in-game should NOT be part of the criteria when selecting the James H. Ellery Memorial Award winner. Consistency and quality of media should be the only criteria judged upon, exceptions can be made for shows that break viewership records, donation records or other “not normal” programming.

No I only did a few write ups early in the season. The other guys are the ones who deserve the votes !

 

B-Red did media?

 

I’m grateful for being nominated, but this award should hands down end up between Broski and Kinglyme. They both stepped up and did an incredible job for media this year, with myself and Flips having to take a step back they came in and did everything that we could have asked of them and more. Both are very deserving of this award. Special shout-out as well to B-Red as well for helping out with writeups early in the season.
