AHL Management Criteria for Management


In order to be eligible players must adhere to all of the criteria listed below


Non-Stats Based Criteria

• Must be a free agent

• Must not be on the NML (PSN or XBOX)

• Must have not been banned in the last season, unless an appeal has been granted by the commissioner. (PSN or XBOX)

• Must not have been issued a capital offense in the previous 5 seasons. If a capital offense was issued outside of the previous 5 seasons a conversation will need to be had with the league commissioner and will be approved or rejected on a case by case basis.

• Any player that has been at the NHL ownership or GM level will not be considered unless they are out of the position for at least 2 seasons. (PSN or XBOX)

• Any player who has won an individual season award in the last 2 seasons, (Ross, Richard, Jennings, Hart, Calder Memorial, Norris, Selke, Vezina, Smythe) is not eligible. (PSN or XBOX)

• Any Player that has won a Stanley Cup in the previous season is not eligible. (PSN or XBOX)

• All time ESHL (ESHL. CBJ, Caps Gaming, Sharks) winning percentage of .699 or higher is not eligible (PSN or XBOX)

• Any player that has won a ESHL title in the previous 3 seasons is not eligible. (PSN or XBOX)

• Any player that is NHL owner/management on one console is not eligible for AHL management on the other console simultaneously.

• Any player that is AHL management on one console is not eligible for NHL ownership/management on the other console simultaneously.

Statistical Based Criteria


Methodology


For evaluation the 4 most recent seasons of NHL stats will be used, primarily the console that is being applied for. The collection of stats will be as follows:


Evaluation will be based on the position the rostered NHL player has primarily played for the past 4 seasons (F,D or G) no matter what position they signed up for during the season they have applied for management. If the player does not have 4 seasons of stats on the console they are applying for 3 seasons will be acceptable.


If the player has 2 seasons or less of NHL stats for their primary position on the console they are applying for the most recent NHL stats from the opposite console will be used to fill the remaining 2 seasons.


ECU stats will not be primarily considered, unless a player drops to the AHL during the middle of the evaluation period.



Criteria

• Forwards having averaged 2.5 points per game or higher are not eligible.

• Forwards having a winning percentage of .699 or higher are not eligible.

• Defense having averaged 1.25 points per game or higher are not eligible.

• Defense winning percentage of .649 or higher are not eligible.

• Goalies having averaged .799 save percentage or higher are not eligible.

• Goalies winning percentage of .625 or higher are not eligible.

Any Player who is rejected for a management position is not eligible for the duration of the season and may not be promoted at any time.
