    @iReeva should be a nominee for the Bastien. He has played alot of top teams and our defense has been shaky at best at times this season. He definitely is our MVP.

    While while I love these awards. I would love LG to add LG specific awards as well.

    Like the most hits award
    Most powerplay points
    Most powerplay assists/goals
    Most short-handed goals
    Best Plus/minus award

    Etc.

    Anyone else interested in adding these awards too?

    Over my career there has been many experiences. Individual stats are dependent on schedule and line mates. Match ups are key and line chemistry plays a major factor in success. Kind of why I think spending HUGE money on player is a poor strategy for bidding. There are very very few players in this league with this current game who can carry a line.

    By no means am I the second most skilled forward in the league. But I am second in points.

    That is why the criteria for awards is deep to ensure recognition is given to the talent in the league.

    Gotta tell EA to go back to NHL 12 style game play. Only good thing since NHL 12 has been the ability to glide left and right when you slow down and cut in a direction. There is no individual creativity really on the ice now.

    Man I would so hope they do, also thought what if club had the ability in play in a stadium style outdoor rink for games. Would be awesome scenery and fire works when you score or something:)

    I can tell you, for most of the Awards, strength of schedule is the #1 criteria point. This would make Brodie, FourthLine, Lingross ineligible to win MVP, or Best Dman.

    This makes zero sense to me. Difficulty of schedule sure. But making Someone ineligible should not be being said. You can’t make “playoff and non playoff teams” a criteria when we as part of media don’t measure it all season.

    Perfect example is GRG might squeak in a playoff spot so at end of season they’re considered more difficult then Chicago at the end even the GRG was a non playoff team all season long.

    Connor Mcdavid wins MVP regardless how many points he got against non playoff teams. As media posting in this thread indicating people who aren’t eligible is an absolute joke.
