The Jack Adams Award is awarded annually to the National Hockey League (NHL) coach "adjudged to have contributed the most to his team's success." @Im4thLineWorthy - Jets Where was he last season - Season 28 Calder Cup winner with the Presidents cup winning Manitoba Moose. How did he finish this season - 2nd Place in the West Central with 120 points. (57-19-6). 4thLineWorthy was an AHL GM, who finally stepped up to take a management spot in the NHL. Many overlooked him as a possible playoff contender, let alone a team that would lead the league in points for the majority of the season. @l Stastny26 l - Panthers Where was he last season - GM of the Ontario Reign in the AHL who finished with 103 points. How did he finish this season - 3rd Place in the East Atlantic with 108 points. (51-25-6) Stastny was an AHL GM as well who filled out the last available NHL owner spot after someone stepped down at the last minute. Stastny was predicted to finish towards the bottom of the league let alone their division. They led their division almost all season and happened to finish in a division spot for the playoffs. @Sejje 19 - Blackhawks Where was he last season - AGM of the Jets, finished 2nd in the West Central with 108 points. How did he finish this season - 1st Place in the West Central with 131 points. (62-13-7) Winners of the Presidents trophy. Sejje took over the cup winning Chicago Blackhawks and did not disappoint, as Sejje and Dan took over and led their team to a Presidents cup with 131 points. @PieR Talent - Coyotes Where was he last season - AGM of the Canadiens, finished 3rd in the East Atlantic with 101 points. How did he finish this season - 5th Place in the West Pacific with 95 points. (41-28-13). PieR a second time owner led his team to a wildcard spot as many people considered Pier an afterthought similar to his first time taking owner but this time was different. Even with the loss of his GM, he made smart moves and good trades as he turned his season around and made a quality playoff push. @DeeSa Ali - Flyers Where was he last season - GM of the 5th Place in the East Metropolitan with 94 points. How did he finish this season - 2nd Place in the East Metropolitan with 96 points. (46-32-4) Carch was the GM of the Flyers team, that missed the playoffs with 94 points last season under @Dr Yargage…. But this season the best move the Flyers had made was Yargage quitting on them as Carch turned what was a shitty start to a promising season. The Flyers finished 2nd in their division only behind the Rangers and got a divisional spot in the playoffs.
Pier FTW no disrespect to the others but as the ONLY roster member on ARZ that was around before bidding, he dealt with building an entire roster from scratch, on top of dealing with the loss of our GM in the middle of the season. Pier made the right moves all season long when things weren't working and got a team with the worst availability in the league to a realistic playoff push.
My vote goes to @Im4thLineWorthy He has to take care of 2 teams at the same time. He is a dedicated man.
