    Below is a full outline of all the changes coming to Season 43 Xbox | Season 21 PSN (NEW):

    Throughout the entirety of the four constitutions, anywhere a four or seven is highlighted, that means the game limits and availability minimum has been adjusted to that.

    All Season 43 Xbox | Season 21 PSN changes are highlighted in BLUE.

    Article I Updates

    Section 4.5: Management (AHL Change)
    • Secondary Assistant General Managers are locked into the position for the duration of the season. They are ineligible to be changed unless removed via league ban.

    Section 4.10: Ownership Commitment
    • Ownership commitment was adjusted to being a minimum two-season commitment.

    Section 4.13: Management Discord Server
    • All Owners (NHL) and General Managers (AHL) are now required to be in the Management Discord server.
    • Failure to be in the Discord server is subject to suspensions or bans if they do not join or leave.

    Section 5.8: Management Discord Server
    • All General Managers (NHL), Assistant General Managers (AHL), and Secondary Assistant General Managers (AHL) are now required to be in the Management Discord server.
      • Failure to be in the Discord server is subject to suspensions or bans if they do not join or leave.
    • All Assistant General Managers (NHL) are not required to be in the Discord server as they are eligible to be changed.

    Section 6.2: Availability
    • Players are now required to give a minimum of seven games of availability per week.
    • Players are also entitled to six games of injured reserve per season.

    Article II Updates

    Section 1.1: Availability
    • Players are now required to give a minimum of seven games of availability per week.
    • Removed the clarification and wording on needing at least one full day of availability.
    • Updated clarification for players who submit no availability and will be considered as 12/12 for that week of play (last season), and that players who submit no availability are considered as 0/0 in trade talks (added last season).

    Section 1.2: Right to be Scheduled
    • Players must be scheduled for a minimum of four games per week.
    • Players who now give less than seven games of availability for the week will forfeit their right to be scheduled.

    Section 1.3: Right to Play
    • Skaters are eligible to play only up to a maximum of four games per week.
    • Goaltenders are eligible to play up to a minimum of four games and a maximum of eight games per week.
    • Players that are called up or sent down is ineligible to play more than four games in a given week.
    • Players who give less than the minimum required availability, the player will forfeit their right to play their four games in a given week.

    Section 1.5: Restrictions and Exemptions
    • Added clarification for ECUs being eligible to play up to four games per week.

    Section 1.6: Requesting to be Placed On the Injured Reserve (IR) (Moved to Article II Now)
    • Moved the entire section to Article II now.
    • Updated some wording on how Injured Reserve will now by a game-by-game basis.
    • One-missed game is now equivalent to one-game of Injured Reserve.
    • Players are eligible for six games of injured reserve per season. Can request an additional two games if needed (but per League Staff approval).
    • Updated the deadlines for the season.
    • Injured Reserve forfeiture is also not eligible to be filed for Week Six.

    Section 2.1: NHL and AHL Schedule
    • The season is now 72 games, at 6 weeks per season.

    Section 2.2: Game Times
    • The LGHL Game Times are 09:00 | 09:30 | 10:00 | 10:30 PM ET
    • The LGAHL Game Times are 08:30 | 09:00 | 09:30 | 10:00 PM ET

    Section 3.3.1: Game Night Procedure
    • Added clarification for games that run late due to server issues or previous games starting late due to overtime or DR issues.
    • The 5-8-11 timer for PIMs and forfeits will start once the API is entered in or when the game is done.
    • Teams that wish to contest any issues will need to provide a proof of search via a stream or valid timestamp.

    Section 3.4.1: How Does It Work?
    • Added in the NA-North Central server.
    • The server selection should now only need six skaters (one side of the lineup) to trigger the server selection.
    • All players in the lineup must be roster players unless noted otherwise.
    • Added clarification for management to not schedule ECU players in the lineup unless players/management are suspended, on IR, or if a team out of playoff contention (new). If a team has 17 roster players without issues, then do not schedule ECUs.

    Section 3.5.3: Required Stats and Pictures
    • Added clarification that Staff will not review a full game's footage to fix broken stats. Please go through the stats screens at the end of each period or the game to claim your stats, or lose them to a 1-0 forfeit win.

    Section 4.1.3: Player Loses Connection During a Game
    • Added clarification that if a disconnection occurs and teams add the 05:00 in-game minutes, then another disconneciton happens after those 05:00 in-game minutes passed, no additional time will be added.

    Section 4.3: Restitution Penalties
    • Due to the issue of replicating a 05:00 minute major penalty, it is near impossible to replicate.
    • So, to compensate, a player must take a minor penalty first, then upon returning from the penalty box, they must take another penalty.
    • The alternative would be to have a player go for a hit on a player without the puck, then take another penalty by tripping a player or pinning them to the boards.

    Section 5.3.2: Forfeit Restrictions
    • Added clarification for managers that the forfeit lineups are now locked to the weekly lines deadline of 08:00 PM ET.
    • Any changes made for if/when a game results in a forfeit, teams are not eligible to make adjustments.

    Section Six: Tiebreakers
    • The tiebreaker game will now be Game #73.

    Article III Updates

    Section 1.1: Sign-Ups
    • Added clarification for when a player must be signed up by and where they will go if they are randomly assigned or post-bidding.

    Section 1.2: Salary Cap
    • The NHL Salary Cap is set to $40,000,000.
    • The AHL Salary Cap is set to $30,000,000.

    Section 1.5: Roster — Positional Limits Restrictions and Exceptions
    • With the combination of League Staff, each team is eligible to carry up to three members of the League Staff (regardless what league they are Staff in) on their roster or training camp roster.

    Section 2.3: Amateur Status (A)
    • Any player that played a minimum of 10 games at the CHL level during Season 42 Xbox | Season 20 PSN was grandfathered in as an Amateur for Season 43 Xbox | Season 21 PSN.

    Section 3.1: Waiver Wire and Send Downs
    • The waiver wire now closes on the Sunday of Week Five at 19:59:59 ET.
    • The conditional waivers will begin right away at 20:00:00 ET, and end on or before Sunday of Week Six at 19:59:59 ET.
      • If a player is claimed near the deadline window, the player will automatically be placed on the team's training camp roster if the team over roster limits or team salary cap.

    Section 3.1.6: Transfer Wire Restrictions
    • The transfer wire closes Sunday at 18:59:59 ET entering Week Five in regards to waiver-exempt players.
    • NHL and AHL management will be given until Wednesday of Week Four ending at 11:59:59 ET (Noon), to call-up players from the NHL training camp to the NHL roster or AHL training camp to the AHL roster.
    • NHL and AHL management will be given until Wednesday of Week Four ending at 19:59:59 ET to return any players called up from the CHL who have played a minimum of 12 games at the CHL level.

    Section 3.2: Call-Ups
    • Added a wording clarification for what is allowed for a call-up.

    Section 3.2.1: Full-Time Call-Ups
    • Added in a clarification for players who are called up the main roster and appear in other leagues, they will receive a call-up status icon in all other leagues.
    • If a player is called up to the NHL roster from the NHL training camp or AHL roster from the AHL training camp, the player must play a minimum of four games prior to being placed on the waiver wire again or being sent down.

    Section 3.2.2: Full-Time Call-Up Restrictions
    • Teams out of playoff contention will be determined during Weeks Four, Five, Six.
    • Teams will be ineligible to call up players after the Wednesday of Week Four at 11:59:59 ET.

    Section 3.2.4: Emergency Call-Up Restrictions
    • Updated the ECU game limits restrictions per league.
      • The NHL can ECU a player four times per season.
      • The AHL can ECU a player six times per season.
      • The CHL can ECU a player eight times (RA V, four times) per season.
      • In all cases, ECU rights do not reset when traded or won via a waiver claim.
    • During the playoffs, if a player or manager appears in the cross-console finals for both Xbox and PlayStation, the player will be deemed ineligible to participate in the finals. A temporary call-up will be needed to replace the player for the week of play.

    Section 3.2.5: AHL Protection List
    • Added in clarification for what is allowed and considered a player protected at the AHL level.

    Section 3.2.6: CHL Protection List
    • Updated the clarification for what is allowed and considered a player protected at the CHL level.

    Section 3.3: Random Assignment
    • Included the dates of when bidding occurred for the season, and who is considered an RA and at what time.

    Section 3.3.1: Player Assignment
    • The cut off for the season's signups will be set to end of Week Five.
    • The NHL will have a one-time RA system right after bidding ends at the CHL level.
    • "Free Agent Fridays" will be done weekly for the AHL and CHL.

    Section 3.4.1: Trade Deadline
    • The trade deadline is set for Sunday at 17:59:59 ET on the Sunday of Week Five.

    Section 3.4.3: Submitting Trades
    • The auto trade approval window will be open from the end of Week One games through the end of Week Three (Sunday, 17:59:59 ET).

    Section 3.4.8: Player Trade Request
    • There are no official trade requests for this season, however, players are eligible to request a trade through the end of Week Three (Sunday, 17:59:59 ET).

    Article IV Updates

    Section 2.2.7: League Removal Policy
    • Updated wording clarification for end of season bans (final two weeks), will upgrade to three-season bans.

    Section 3.3: Server Selection Determination
    • Updated proper wording clarification for when a team is found to have abused the server selection process by manipulation.
      • Examples include, invalid lineups, ECUs in the lineups, or deleting/removing a server veto after a given time.

    Section 4.7: Understanding the Strike System
    • Updated the strike system policy after issues from past seasons.
    • During Weeks 1-6, players who miss six games in a season are subject to a league removal.
    • During Weeks 1-4, players who miss four games in a week are subject to a league removal.
    • During Week 5, players who miss two games in a week are subject to a league removal.
    • During Week 6, players who miss one game in a week are subject to a league removal.
    • During Playoffs Weeks 1-5, players who miss one game for the entirety of the playoffs are subject to a league removal.

    Section 5.3: No-Shows
    • Updated the strike system policy after issues from past seasons.
    • During Weeks 1-6, players who miss six games in a season are subject to a league removal.
    • During Weeks 1-4, players who miss four games in a week are subject to a league removal.
    • During Week 5, players who miss two games in a week are subject to a league removal.
    • During Week 6, players who miss one game in a week are subject to a league removal.
    • During Playoffs Weeks 1-5, players who miss one game for the entirety of the playoffs are subject to a league removal.

    Section 5.7: Ineligible Player
    • Added in clarification for players that are not on the team roster.
      • This would include players in an AHL game lineup and ECUing at the NHL level without approval from the AHL managers.
      • This would include players in an CHL game lineup and ECUing at the NHL or AHL level without approval from the NHL or AHL managers.

    Section 5.13: Refusal to Play
    • Effective S43 Xbox | S21 PSN, the following is in effect.
      • A player who quits the League during a bidding session, after being won in a bidding session, or not showing up to their team in the first-week of the season with no communication (effective Season 43 Xbox | Season 21 PSN).

    Section 6.5: Player Rights Violation
    • Players who submit more than seven games of availability for the week, or scheduled for less than four games for the week of play are eligible for this complaint.

    Section 6.11.1: Claiming and Waiving Players
    • Updated the meaning of this rule, the transaction is overturned and the player is returned to his/her original team’s active roster and placed back on the waiver wire.

    Section 6.11.2: Calling Up and Waiving Players
    • Added this in for managers being ineligible to call up a player from the training camp and place a player on the waiver wire.
    • Management is only eligible to call up a player they intend to use and not place the player on the waiver wire without playing a game.
    • The transaction is overturned and the player is returned to his/her original team’s training camp.

    Section 6.11.3: Calling Up, Traded to Another Team, and Waiving Players
    • Added this in for managers are ineligible to call up a player from the training camp, then trade the player to a new team, and place a player on the waiver wire. This is deemed as a circumvention to the previous rule.
    • Management is only eligible to call up a player they intend to use and not trade the player so they can be placed on the waiver wire without playing a game.
    • The transaction is overturned and the player is returned to his/her original team’s training camp.

    Section 6.12.1: Claiming and Waiving Players
    • Added this in for managers are ineligible to call-up a player from the training camp roster and place them back on the waiver wire without having played four games at minimum.
    • Management is only eligible to call up players they intend to schedule, use on their active roster or trade them (but not to waive on the new team, see above). Therefore, a team(s) must show intent prior to calling up the player!
    • The transaction is overturned and the player is returned to his/her original team’s training camp.

    Future Changes & Plans (discussions will occur during the season, hope to implement by next season):
    • We are looking to revamp our player statuses and adjusted them within the next few seasons due to the overall change in league structure.
    • We are looking to adjust the Draft overall and how many picks each team will have.
    • We are looking to adjust the re-sign values for the future seasons.
