I was going to finish with this division, however i've seen a lack of Eastern Conference predictions so here we go. Once again I'm new at this so bear with me.

1. Boston Bruins

Boston is looking to put their Domsquad scandal behind them and I think they're in for a good run this season. @eZDangles has taken over for Dom and really improved this team. He brought in Colorado legend @TheGreatMP7 to GM for him, and in bidding they picked up @Marner--, @HazeeHype, and @jiccy31 at forward. Hazee can be annoying to many but the guy knows how to score, and combined with Bone, Jmarz, and Marner this team will be an offensive powerhouse. On d they got @Dydy23 for 3 million, and I think he's going to be one of the steals of bidding. They also have @Pastahnak back, and he did a good job transitioning from goalie to defenseman last season. In net they have @snake16doctor who is looking to take over Maximus's job as starter of this org. Looking at his stats from last season i'm sure he will be up to the challenge.

2. Florida Panthers

Coming in at second we have none other than team 23, the Florida Panthers. This team is being lead by @Primetimme, who basically took over as interim owner mid way through last season and lead this club to the playoffs. This season he decided to GM @I2I-Way-Hockey, who has really turned in to one of the superstars of this league, it's becoming harder and harder to find someone interchangeable with him. They didn't get many big named forwards in bidding, but one that stands out to me is @Po1andsFinest. It seems like this guy flops between Xbox and PSN every season and this one he decided to come over here. He's an elite player and him and 2-way will take on the task of carrying this offense. On defense they have @MrPurpleCrush and @Cwooks as the top pairing, and although that may seem weak to some of you, they've been playing together since NHL 16, and the chemistry is real. I only wish Cwooks would talk more as he has a beautiful voice. In net its no surprise they picked up their friend @WhatsTheMaatta to be starter, and I was very surprised he only went for 500k. This guy is the real deal and will steal games from time to time.

3. Toronto Maple Leafs

@AAli-21 is back as owner, and lets hope he learns from his mistake last season and doesn't purposely lose to face "easier" opponents. @Hriiz is GM'ing the leafs, and I honestly have no idea why as he had one of the better contracts in the league but you do you Hriiz. They already had several good players on contract such as @OohDat-Twiggle_ at forward and @ItsAPurpleDragon on d, so it was just about whether they did well in bidding. They picked up @DShakki aka Woy, which was a good start, but I didn't see any other real good pickups beyond that. I thought they would emphasize defense, however besides @dparans_, there's just not much there. I think that Dp is a good d man, but I feel this team's downfall will be the lack of defensive depth. The goalie for this team is kind of a mystery for me, not sure the direction they're trying to go in net. Both goalies on the roster right now have minimal or no NHL games, and the AHL and CHL stats are average at best. We'll see what happens back there.

4. Buffalo Sabres

@Coltcrazy was set to take over the Chicago dynasty but was hit with the roster swap to Buffalo, something that caught me off guard. Coming off a Cup win as AGM, it's clear Colt knows what to do to win on and off the ice. He was left with a shell of the team that had just won lord stanley, as the hawks lost Desjy, Hriiz, Jodach, and a few others, however he has done a great job in filling that gap and making this a feared team in the east. He got @II-Entryy-II to GM for him, and he's another player who knows how to win, having a cup of his own and coming just short last season. It was clear this team was going for the defensive approach, as their biggest fa pickup was @Ball-17- . This guy was a monster for LA last season and hes looking to continue the great play in Buffalo. They also have @Serpe x 13 returning and picked up @Gui__20 aka Go Marc, so the offense will be no slouch either. Manning the net will be either @tabbs85 or @WestSideHockey, and i'm sure they will be playing hard to win the starting job come opening night.

5. Ottawa Senators

@JTresatti has moved back to forward after a Vezina finalist season in net, and he's done a pretty good job so far to say the least. He started out with an interesting move, grabbing @SidTheKid_PiTT87 to GM, as I felt there were better options out there, but besides that I feel he's done a good job on all other moves and signings. He's got a forward core lead by @schroyer69 who has returned to the league as a forward and went for a hefty 10 million contract. He will be tasked with carrying a somewhat underwhelming offense, and it will be interesting to see who his linemates will be. On defense he picked up @Desjy99 who is imo a top 5 d man on PSN. He will be missing the first two weeks of the season, but expect him to carry the load back there. In net they got both @balake96 and @o R E C K I o, and i'm not sure why as both are starter caliber, but nevertheless, these are the goalies you want on your team. Expect them to keep Ottawa in games they shouldn't be in and steal points and wins for them. This tandem will be fun to watch. Oh by the way they got @Krvstoffer to be @Desjy99's linemate, so maybe Jayce will be the one to get carried... #KrisForNorris???

6. Tampa Bay Lightning

This was a tough one for me, as I feel they have the talent to be fifth or maybe fourth in the division, but I think they will end up around sixth. @Carmstrong95 was owner of the Canucks last season, and has roster swapped to the East, so maybe the change of scenery will help him. I didn't like a lot of his moves as the Canucks owner, and besides a few good moves unfortunately this season I feel the same way. He had a solid start in having @OrangeChickn come in as GM, as he is coming off a big season in Vegas, but besides him the forward core and lack of depth seems to be a major issue. The two bright points for this team definitely stem from defense, as getting @Breezy5457 in bidding was huge and keeping @MPelley25 will help hold down the point. In net they picked up @hgSparty, and he has shown he's one of the better goalies in this league. He will def steal games and if this team does better than expected i'm sure he will be a major reason why.

7. Detroit Red Wings

@Jlm1410 has taken over as owner of the wings and I can honestly say i'm very impressed with what he has done so far. His team would be ranked higher up if this division wasn't so tight, so he's in the right direction. His GM is @The Broche who I don't know much about, but he has decent stats and with a weaker GM pool this season i'm sure he will do fine. At forward they picked up @Tidan x 55 who is a great player looking to rebound after quitting towards the end of last season. They also have @CL95K aka Clarkeskog and @DynoMikeV2 so the offense should be able to succeed. On defense they got @Tanev4Norris in bidding and he will also be looking to rebound after a disappointing season 6. He's shown in previous seasons he can rack up wins and be a solid d man, so he should have a rebound year. In net they have @Matt 4029 who showed last season why he can take over games and be one of the better goalies in our league. He may get blue lined sniped from time to time, but this guy will steal games for you and keep you in it. I'm expecting a big season out of matt and I have a feeling he's gunna deliver.

8. Montreal Canadiens

Oh boy is this team a mess. @sparkplug87 nic has come in to take over for the habs, and i'm just not sure what his thought process through bidding was. One of his bright points was bringing in @WolfxI29I to GM, as I feel he flew under the radar and has dropped two one hundred point seasons in both the CHL and AHL. As far as bidding goes once again i'm just not sure what they were thinking. They got @PoopinSince95 who is a good forward but i'm not sure he's going to want to play and try for this team. On defense they got @xChief 27 who is a solid defenseman, but I feel 5.25 is a major overpay for him especially when players like Dp only went for 5. I'm hoping he proves me wrong, but if he's going to live up to that contract he will have to bring out Unknown x Talent Chief . If there's a sleeper player on this team I think it will be @deadlykush204, he hasn't played NHL since season 3, but he has shown in the past he can win. At goalie they have @ViRuS_I29I_, who I feel is the clear starter, looking to have somewhat of a bounce back season. He started season 6 on fire, but slowed down as the campaign went along and finished with 77.7sv. I think we all know Virus is better than that, and I think he could crack an 80sv here on the habs despite the weak defense. I honestly hope these guys do good, as I have a few friends on this team, But I just don't see it.
