    1.1.1. League Overview

    1.6 week season

    2. 8 minute

    3. 9 pm EST & 10 EST

    4. Game settings :

    1. Will be based on Pro-Am Preset settings.
    1.2.1 Roster Breakdown

    1. Owner : Has final say on all team decisions. Will be the one to communicate and be communicated with League Management. Any questions his team may have should be directed to him or his management team. Owner’s should be the management member to handle all roster actions i.e., Trades and Waiving players.

    2. General Manager(GM) : Should be in tune with the Owner as to what expectations are for the team. This member should be viewed in same light as owner as far as being someone the team’s roster can come to when having issues of any sort. The General Manager should then communicate with the owner. If an Owner is unavailable than it falls onto the GM to handle the role for as long as needed. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.

    3. Assistant General Manager(AGM) : Should be considered a part of the management team but this member is more in charge of gameday issues. The AGM is like the “TC” of the management team. If a member of management needs someone to step up he needs to be there help pick up the slack for the night. Selected after the draft.

    4. Active Roster : These members are the top 8 players listed on the roster. These are the guys who should be playing in the games on game nights. They are required to be playing regularly and showing up when scheduled or disciplinary action should be being handed out on them. These members must play in 1 game a week

    5. Training Camp Roster(TC) : The rest of the roster falls into the TC Category. These members still deserve an opportunity to play if the Active Roster players are not showing up on game nights. If active roster members aren’t signing up for games but TC guys are than TC guys should be getting the confirmations to play. If teams how too many active people on TC , more teams will can made from the TC players across the league.

    1.2.2. Roster Transactions

    1. No player re-assignments may happen until the weekend following week 1.

    2. Random Assignments has recently been changed so that as players sign-up they will be automatically assigned to teams.
      1. This makes keeping on top of your roster very important. If members are completely ignoring your Management team than starting doing disciplinary actions. This helps cut the guys out who aren’t helping your team and gives you a roster spot that can be filled by a new sign-up.
    3. Trades:
      1. Trade window is Friday 12 am est until Monday 7 pm est.

      2. Players may only be traded if all games they participated in have had their stats input.

      3. You may only trade players for similar level players
        1. This means Active Roster for Active Roster, TC for TC.

        2. League Management may override this under certain circumstances.
      4. Salaries are currently not being used, but once they are implemented than you can not exceed your team’s salary cap due to trade.

      5. Trade Requests :
        1. Players may request a trade at any time.
          1. For a trade request in the LGBA you need to start a conversation in LG and include :Owner, GM, and 2 League commissioners.
        2. Players who request trades must be moved by the end of the following trade window or Owners are required to waive that player.
      6. Trades are approved and denied by LG Management.
    4. Internal player movement.
      1. Your Active Roster can not exceed 8 players.
        1. If at any time your Active Roster is over 8 you must make proper adjustments immediately.

        2. If your Active Roster is over 8 players at a scheduled start time, your game will be forfeit.
      2. Player movement is available during the weekend.

      3. Any player being sent down from the Active Roster must clear waivers before being sent to your team’s TC.

      4. If a TC player plays in 4 games in one week you are required to move them up to the Active Roster and adjust accordingly.

    2.1.1 Game Night

    1. Weekly Lineup Post
      1. A post will be put up in the LGBA Owners Forum.

      2. You are required to fill out the proposed nightly lineups by Monday at 7 pm est for the entire week’s games.

      3. The roster can always change last minute but we want your “rough draft” of what you are expecting your roster to be.
    2. Nightly Lineups
      1. Due by 7 pm est the night of games.

      2. Must have at least 4 confirmed players.

      3. Active Roster players have preference over Training Camp players.

      4. Players may be asked to play a different position as signed up.

      5. Members may only be confirmed for 4 games maximum

      6. “Manager on Call” must be set correctly. They are responsible for:
        1. Having the opposing MOC on his Friends List so he can send the invite in a timely manner.

        2. Having a lobby up by 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

        3. Getting all players into that lobby as soon as possible.

        4. Handling his team’s TC needs quickly.

        5. Making lineup adjustments and filing action centre reports on players who did not show up for games.

        6. Taking pictures of post game stats.

    2.1.2 Game Time

    1. Games are scheduled to start by 10 & 11 pm est.
      1. An extension of up to 10 minutes may be requested before the scheduled start times.

      2. After 10 minutes the game is a forfeit by the team not fielding enough players.
        1. A reschedule may be requested. All reschedules are due by Saturday of that week.

        2. If you reschedule a game, a date must be agreed upon before end of night.

        3. If a reschedule is agreed on than all game night’s rules will be in place for the rescheduled date.

        4. League Management may require a reschedule at any time.
      3. The league wants to see 100% of all games played. Numerous forfeits may result in:
        1. Suspensions of management.

        2. Blacklist

        3. Forfeiture of playoffs if a trend is noticed.
    2. Lag-Outs/Players Dropping
      1. If a player is having issues connecting/staying connected a TC must be contacted and brought in regardless of time. Be prepared.

      2. If a player lags out in the 1st 2 minutes of the 1st quarter all players must quit and the lobby restarted.
        1. If you are the lagged out player take a recording of the screen. Those 30 second recordings can be used to defend a disciplinary action if people claim you quit.

        2. If the same player lags out twice a replacement player should be found.

        3. If numerous players continually lag out in 1st few minutes of a re-set up game than a new host must be chosen.
      3. After 2 minutes, if any player drops out the game will be played out as normal.

      4. If a 2rd player lags out the other team may take a forfeit win.
        1. They must communicate with the other team that they will be taking the win or rescheduling.

        2. Games can be played out still to acquire stats but it will not change the outcome of the game’s victor.
          1. Players who elect to not stay must have their status changed to “DNS” during stat entry.

          2. In some instances a reschedule may be required as per League management due to 2k’s servers.
    3. Stats
      1. Stats are required to be entered by 9pm est the following day.

      2. Winning team is responsible for inputting all stats
        1. We tried doing it so each team took care of their own team’s but it was more hassle than needed.

        2. It’s always recommended each team takes screenshots of the stats.
      3. 2 Screenshots are required after completion of each game.
        1. Team Comparison, found before quitting out of the game.[IMG]

        2. Gamertag Stats, these are found after you quit from the game and returned to the player lobby.[IMG]
      4. Stat entry is ultimately the Owner’s Responsibility to make sure they are completed in a timely manner.
        1. He may assign them to whichever manager is on call of if one volunteers.
          1. If this Manager fails to do so than an action centre should be completed on them.

          2. If an owner has no proof of delegating this responsibility than the action centre will be done on them.
      5. Forfeits
        1. Forfeits will be entered as a 1-0 score.

        2. All players positions need to be changed to DNS so it doesn’t affect per game averages.

    4.1.1 Offseason Activities

    1. Scouting
      1. 3 scouting games are required by Owners. Failure to do so may result in removal of team ownership.

      2. Scouting games are required as it’s proven to help acquire sign-ups for the league. This is also a chance for new players to show their abilities to Owners.

      3. Scouting games can be found on the Leaguegaming Basketball Association homepage.[IMG]

      4. Creating Scouting games
        1. Click the orange “LG Pick-up Games” tab shown above.

        2. Click the green “Create Pick-Up Game”

        3. Fill in the information as needed, all times are your local timezone.

        4. An hour before the scheduled Scouting game start you should double check and make sure you have the players you want to scout confirmed and send them a message.
      5. Joining a Scouting Game.
        1. Click the orange “LG Pick-Up Games” as shown above.

        2. Check the box for “LGBA” to filter out all other leagues.

        3. Click the game and position you would like to try out for.

        4. Owners will confirm you before the games begin so you know to be ready.

        5. Missing these games may affect your ability to participate in this league
      6. Owners Scouting thread
        1. Upon completion of a scouting you need to post in the Owner’s Sub-Forum.
          1. Scouting games require 60% of the players to be signed up for the league to be counted.
        2. Click on the “Season 14 Scouting Games” thread.

        3. In the reply box you will see a green Xbox icon[IMG]

        4. Once you click the icon a list of all your recent screenshots and videos appear below the text box.

        5. Post the scouting game and you’re finished.
    2. Cornerstone Player
      1. Cornerstone players are a member that you would like to claim before the draft.

      2. The Cornerstone is earned by completing and posting 5 scouting games in the Scouting Games thread.

      3. The player must be signed up for the league.

      4. Both the Owner and their requested Cornerstone player must send a message to a Commissioner that they are accepting the cornerstone offer.
        1. This is done so we know who to add before the draft.

        2. The player is required to message so we know they actually want to be on that team and it’s not some ruse.

        3. If this step is skipped and the player is added to the team before the Commissioner messages you to continue claiming the player, the player will be removed from your team and entered into the draft pool.
      5. Owner's won't be moved anywhere during draft if they use cornerstone. It's all owner's responsiblities to do the minimum as it is.
    3. Leaguegaming Basketball Association Draft
      1. Draft will be held the Sunday before the Season begins.

      2. Sign-Ups close for the draft a half hour before the draft is scheduled to begin.
        1. It will re-open at the conclusion of the draft.
      3. Serpentine format is used for the draft.

      4. Teams have 1 1/2 minutes when it is time for their selection.

      5. All Management can make selections but the Owner is the one who should be handling the actual picks.
        1. If the Owner messages League management and complains of their GM/AGM making selections we will remove GM/AGM status until after the draft.
      6. We will have 6 draft rounds to fill out the roster.
        1. 1 Owner + 1 GM + 6 draft picks = 8 players

        2. Owners who took advantage of the cornerstone will lose their 1st round pick.

    5.2.1. Action Centre/Due Process/Disciplinary Actions

    1. Action Centre
      1. All complaints must be filed through the Action Centre for league management to act on.[IMG]

      2. Must have physical evidence(Video or Photo) for any investigation to start.
        1. This process may be overlooked in certain extreme circumstances.
      3. Do not post complaints of rule violations into the forums. This will not help your case and may hurt your case.

      4. If you’re unsure what to file your complaint under, message league management for clarification.
    2. Due Process
      1. Terminology
        1. Suspension is defined by missing the next “X” amount of games.
          1. Forfeits do not count as a game counted towards your suspension
        2. Blacklist is defined by instant removal from the league and inability to sign up for any leaguegaming.com leagues until the blacklist is lifted.
      2. 1st Infraction - 2 game suspension

      4. 3rd Infraction - League Removal and Blacklist
        1. Minimum is rest of the current season and the next season.
