Season 2

I know a lot of GM's want to ask @Hadji this, but i feel instead of answering a ton of times, why not list our questions here. I do want to ask how many players of the ahl can you resign? I heard rumors that it was 1, and would like to here the truth.
When will management for NHL AHL CHL be announced? I know people are anxious and want to start preparing for season 2.

To awnser some of your questions

Question 1 you are aloud to resign 1 AHL player and 2 NHL players .

Question 2 Owners list will be released in round 3 of the playoffs so some time next week , as for GMS that will come in April both NHL and AHL under NHL owners discretion of who they choose.


The draft will be in April as well . The league has already made its time line for season 2 . I can tell you this much ref season won't start till May. So think of April to get all the off season tasks done .

That I am not sure about yet. Maybe when the NHL bidding is over to see who's left for a owner spot ? Or maybe same time NHL owners are announced .

April 15th
-NHL entry draft

April 17th
-all players wishing to be entered into NHL bidding are required to be signed up by 19:00:00 est
-NHL Bidding goes live at 21:00:00

April 24
-AHL Bidding

April 29
-CHL Bidding

 

Thorpe in regards to resigns

4.1 : Re-signs

Each season in the NHL and AHL, management and Owners are eligible to offer one re-signs to a Player on their roster with an expiring contact.

In order to do so, the offer must be sent from the offer system located in the Front Office tools.

For the re-sign to be official the Player must accept the official offer.

A Player who accepts a re-sign will have their current salary increased by 25%(Round to the nearest 250k) and are issued a one season deal.

Any player randomly assigned is ineligible to be resigned.

 

NHL is 2 resigns but it must be written agreement between player and management and commish preferably .

 

So is that true, randomly assigned players or prospects may not be offered a contract to come back next season?... That would suck... Because that is who I planned on.. I do have a plan B but shit..

No RA's can not be offered the re-sign

 

It is weird I have some random assigned players that don't have RA next to their names anymore but they are still listed as prospects... Can prospects be offered a deal?

Question. I signed up for season 2 but I am listed as a goalie. The position I originally signed up as in season 1. Is there going to be a way to change your position? As I play LD rather than G now?

 

You had the ability at sign up to change that position. In your personal information, you still should.

ETA: Hrrm, seems like you can't do it personally through your account. I'd personally message a BOG to get it sorted out.

 

You do it when you sign up. It asks your primary position. Unless you put LD and it automatically made you a G. idk

 

@Tris10 Will that 'other management tools' button be active after the playoffs finish? Also If we have a random assigned player who played the allotted amount of games to become a Amateur would we be able to offer them a contract at that point in time? As our returning player contract?
