1- Raptors vs 4- 76ers SS- 3-0 Raps

None of the match ups this postseason feels like they’re just automatic sweeps, the competition level has certainly leveled out this year as you can tell by the #1 team in the league only averaging just over a 4-2 record on the season. This series will also most likely be the closest of the first round, two very talented defensive minded teams who both have very good depth, this series will most likely come down too who’s second line can out perform the other. Prediction- Raps in 5

2- Nets vs 3- Bucks SS- 2-1 Nets

Another match up of two very well-rounded teams with arguably the two best second lines in the league, out of the two match ups in the east Brooklyn definitely matches up the best against the Bucks. When it comes to overall line strength the edge has to go to the Nets, but Milwaukee has shown that they have the ability to steal a game from the Nets in their last match up, the question will be whether they can replicate that in the playoffs. Prediction- Nets in 4

West

1- Nuggets vs 4- Rockets SS-2-1 Nugs

When it comes to battle of the first lines there’s no better game than this one, this whole series will come down to those big match ups and they’ll be on full display with Mason streaming the games. With the first lines being the focal point, the second line edge has to go to the Nugs, meaning that all of the pressure is going to be on that Rockets first line to dominate the Nugs top unit. Season series saw one barn burner for each side and a very close win for the Nugs, so this series will be interesting to say the least. Prediction- Nugs in 3

2- Kings vs 3- T’Wolves SS- 2-1 Wolves

The amount of solid records going into this post season is astounding, compared to last season when most teams were barely positive come the playoffs this season is the polar opposite. For Rise’s squad as they come into this series as one of the hottest teams in the league, while the Kings come in having rebounded from their rough week when they lost Flacco and look to re-establish themselves as one of the top teams in the league, the question is how good can they be after losing their best player? Second line strength goes to the Wolves so the Kings top unit will need to show up. Prediction- T’Wolves in 4
