Please Vote! Season 21 Power Rankings Post Bidding: East

FYI these are rankings put together by a committee of players from multiple teams in the league, they are also comprised of the opinions of every Manager and Owner in the League who chose to participate. As always if you’re not happy with your teams ranking, kick some ass and prove the rankings wrong. That being said let’s get right into it.

These are rankings based on teams’ rosters after bidding:


1) Toronto Raptors

Coming off of a strong rookie season 1st team All NBA and season 20 MVP @Coach Denham chose S20 1st team All NBA PG ImTom as his GM, from there they got right to work and put themselves together a roster that needless to say has a lot to prove this season. The story line for this team will be proving themselves, Denham and Tom will have to prove that they can get wins now that teams know who they are right off the hop, @Easy Macaroni & @Witman x 19 will have to earn those massive contracts, especially Mac, who has the 2nd largest contract in the league and will have. Beyond those big names they filled in their roster with cheap contracts form guys with little or no experience in the league. @ova experienced had a solid S20 almost averaging a double double in Phoenix and @lts Froggy who averaged 25 points a game in the NCAA last season including an NCAA Championship with a 12-1 record overall. Beyond that the rest of their roster has no experience in the league and beyond what management has said about them will be tossups going into the season.

2) Brooklyn Nets

Another management duo going into their second season with some hardware, @Mixer Roitman 1st Team All NBA PF & @VenomOnFire 2nd Team All NBA PG. You’ll start to notice a pattern of top teams who have strong management duos and the Nets are no exception, they filled in their lineup with reliable guys that they know will produce for them, @Beta Evolution & @HoodieMerc were their off the board signings and they managed to pick up two members of Venoms clan NikeOnFire &@MythOnFire to fill out what will be one of the best game 5 lines in the league. Beyond that they picked up some role players, @Mike Is A Goat had a strong regular season in Miami last year going 9-3 and averaging 14 points a game and a couple of LG vets in @E77W & @Daversa19 . The main story for this team will be keeping the locker room happy and positive, toxicity and arguments are the only thing that can stop this team from being a contender in the league, if they can cut out the noise of the league and stay on task, they’re a strong contender for the championship.

3) Chicago Bulls

Sticking with the trend of predictability the Bulls slot in at number 3 in the east @Beta Dreams , former S19 MVP will need to bounce back this season after a slow start to last year saw them need a late season push to jump into a playoff spot. One of the keys to their success will be their owner @SuBpeRBzSkiLLz He had a very strong rookie season but lacked involvement only playing in 18 games in the regular season last year, it’ll be interesting to see what he can produce in a full year. This team had a chance at being higher on the list in the east but were forced to take some detours in their bidding according to Subperb, so the main story for this team will be chemistry, how quickly can they get together and acclimated as a team and avoid another slow start to the season like last year. They will need to utilize talented players like @Dushi who had a breakout at the end of season 20 in two massive playoff games for the Knicks and from their two big veteran signings @JarringHarpy55 & @ShawtyIsNumba1 who have both been staples in the league since its infancy.

4) Philadelphia 76ers

A turnaround pick in the East @ThankYouHinkie & @im just a squid have come back for another season with a similar strategy in bidding hoping for some more games to go their way this season, last year they just barely missed out on that final playoff spot in the east and slowed down after a hot start to the season. The main story for this team will be consistency, they were a game in and game out team last season that left too many wins behind that they could have stolen, if this team can find their stride and bring their A game every game they’re going to finish a lot higher in the standing than most might guess. As I mentioned, this is almost a carbon copy of the 76ers roster from last season so their success this year will heavily depend on how much they were able to grow since last year. Their only new addition is @xxMazza5xx but what I’ve been told is that they have made a number of positional changes that could give guys a better chance this year.

5) Milwaukee Bucks

This is the consensus wildcard pick in the east, @Texans80mvp chose a manager that he knew he could work with in @bigtipchip and put together a strategy to build a team around what they saw was the most important position on the court in the PG. Expect the Bucks to field two serviceable lines this year that will be far from pushovers, this team has the potential to win some games but their success with be dependant on their point guards ability to control the game, and when you’re spending half of your cap on PG’s you have to hope that they will. It’ll be interesting to see what Texans has been able to do in his first season as an owner coming off of a strong role player season in Miami, but other than @Big Pete x 2 & @Daffadome they have absolutely no experience in the league and this could be their hidden secret or the thing that comes back to bite them. Whichever the case is this team will be one to watch this season.

6) New York Knicks

The Knicks management duo is a tough one to decipher, @STG BEAST & @CRIPBATMAN973 are both brand new to the league and that could end up seriously helping or hurting the Knicks this season, they took a very interesting approach to bidding, something that only 3 other teams did, they loaded up on 2 very well known and talented players in the league, ones that everyone knew about and may have been expensive but you know will produce for you, for the Knicks it was @Viktomize & @l Craw Daddy l , then once you have your big guys you can surround them with well scouted steals in the draft and sleepers you might have. The only issue for this strategy is that you’re putting a lot of hope into a couple of guys who you may not have too much experience playing with, but seeing as the other 3 teams that took this approach were the Raptors, Nuggets and Kings, you have to think that there’s something to it. That being said the guys they surrounded Vik and Craw are all brand new to the league and are very unproven players, so this team specifically is just so difficult to place right now, the key for them will be pulling all of these guys together.

7) Orlando Magic

Rounding out the East we have the Magic, @Visionz813 & @Kryss85 are again, both brand new to the league and the question will be whether they did their research or if they just went after big names that they heard were good players. Their biggest splash in free agency was @Flems506 and although its always smart to spend your money on a PG there have been questions to whether he is a true PG or if he wants to run that role this season. Beyond him they have @oCSUo iDr0p , but whether he’s going to eb able to show up and produce against some of the top teams in the league still remains a question, the theme of this team right now is how many questions are going to be answered once the season swings around, maybe we’ll get a sneak peak in the preseason. One thing that they did do well was to get some very affordable contracts and didn’t end up reaching too far which left them with a lot of cap flexibility for tc movement throughout the season.
