CALDER MEMORIAL TROPHY - The Calder Memorial Trophy is an annual award given "to the player selected as the most proficient in his first year of competition in the National Hockey League. @Lyons x 63 - Record 18-5-1 // Record vs Playoff Teams 3-2-1 // 62 Points, 29 Goals, 33 Assists // +/- 51 // 18:00 PIMs Coming into the year, I dont think anyone expected this guy to have the season he put together. He definitely stunned alot of people and put together one heck of a show. He performed as one of the top players all season and put together a stellar rookie campaign. A campaign that is Deserving of a Finalist spot in the Calder Memorial Race @Capitalize x94 - Record 16-6-2 // Record vs Playoff Teams 9-3-2 // 58 Points, 24 Goals, 34 Assists // +/- 10 // 10:00 PIMs // 60.8 Faceoff % As a Top 5 Pick in the draft expectations for you are to deliver, and deliver results fast, And man did he deliver. Showcasing his skill around the dot with at faceoff % above 60 is impressive. Putting 58 points along with that is Definitely something you can be ecstatic about if your @l Stastny26 l. If he can keep the puck out of his net and boost that +/- up there as well he might have even given himself a bid into being a finalist for the Selke trophy. Who knows if he keeps this up he'll have his name on that award in no time. @l T Nicholls l - Record 20-5-3 // Record vs Playoff Teams 9-5-1 // 33 Points, 2 Goals, 31 Assists // +/- 30 // 103 Takeaways, 169 Giveaways, -66 // 28:00 What a showing. His Record vs Playoff teams at 9-5-1 Proves hes ready to play against some good lines already and it seems hes only going to get better. Playing with one of the best right wings in the game definitely helps, But as we all know He has to have someone to help him get the puck. He sure looks as though he'll be playing with the best for a long time coming. @GroceryStickl5l - Record 20-5-1 // Record vs Playoff Teams 5-4-1 // 23 Points, 23 Assists // +/- 58 // 75 Takeaways, 85 Giveaways, -10 // 18:00 PIMs What Seems to be another diamond in the rough for @Im4thLineWorthy. Putting together a season with a Great +/- Showing that he knows how to keep the puck out of his net. Only 85 Giveaways to go along with that. He knows how to take care of the puck that's for sure and also to make sure its stays in his teams possession. Something any owner would love to have on their team. @iTz x Luigi x - Record 20-6-2 // Record vs Playoff Teams 10-5-1 // 25 Points, 5 Goals, 20 Assists // +/- 29 // 117 Takeaways, 148 Giveaways, -31 // 8:00 PIMs Some of @POOPIE SNOOPY 's Finest work as a Manager in this league. He definitely hit the nail on the head with his 2nd pick. Someone who seems to be a 1st Line Defenseman right out of the gates is a rarity in this league. Paired up with @l T Nicholls l is a duo you will likely see for atleast 1 more season. With his Record vs Playoff Teams and his ability to control the puck as well as he can, This is one guy you can guarantee will cause alot of headaches to come over his career. Putting him with @Aye Keeks is just overkill. You Always expect a #2 Pick to perform well. This well is just the icing on the cake.
i'm going to give this one to nicholls or luigi cause they help edm a lot and where a big part of that team almost making playoffs.
27-22-0 79.3SV% (29th in the league) 2.13 GAA (23rd in the league) Your numbers were very good around the halfway point but fell way off after that. You were def one of the leading candidates the first few weeks but you finished with a 79.3SV% and 2.13GAA which were both not in top 20 of the league when we had 20 Gs with over an 80 SV% in the highest G SV% totals we have seen in LG history. We go by the numbers and you might think you "deserve" to be here and you were a nominee but your numbers are not finalist worthy, especially with the rookie season others had
