I definitely get the difference and had to play a few rounds to adjust. Basically, for me it get like HB reduced the "forgiveness zone" for how much you pull the putter back to be at the desired distance you set the marker to.

Hats off to Ian Sweeney at Cedar Hills. He shot a sick 54 that even I couldn't compete with. I posted back to back 58s and still trailed by 5 at the end of the day. Played consistent golf at Harvest Hills and am happy with 62-60. Will see if Ian can beat it haha

At Cedar Hills 18....From the green I had to flop from behind the log on the ground at the 18th green. From what I have read this is now still within the rules.. Just wanted to be up front about it before anyone said anything about it...
    Thanks,
    Alfy G

If there is any obstruction in front of you that affects your ability to putt, it's the only thing that permits chipping/flopping on the green. Otherwise, it's now a violation of the rules and DQ from that event for a first offense.

Just an update. I stepped on my PS4 controller and had to perform surgery on it over the weekend, so didn't get a chance to try and play again til this morning but when I did, everything had resolved itself and I was able to play round 4 without a problem. May have just been a network connection issue or something.

There definitely was an obstruction...There is a fallen tree on the ground that separates the kidney bean shaped green on hole 18 at Cedar Springs... I now know I was entirely within the rules...Thanks EMLB !!

    Mr.PT
For one of the better more experienced players like yourself in my opinion, I am curious to know why you feel this way... I have been playing since it's inception and feel the game is better than it ever was... Would like to get the reasoning behind your comment...

    Thanks,
    AlfyG

I absolutely hated Cedar Springs. One of my least favorite courses I've played on this game. No offense to the designer, but the layout and trees really got to me.

A number holes required shaped shots off the tee, I guess golf and thinking before teeing it up makes it more like work than fun...........

Don't have a problem with having to shape shots. I design my courses to require shot shaping. I have a problem with multiple trees right in the middle of shot paths and hanging over the fairway in almost every spot because the designer was too lazy to go in and clear auto generated trees. Just wasn't a well designed course in any way. Lazy layout and design for the most part in my opinion.

I wouldn't worry about. He will just use one of the other 5 other accounts he has on both PS4 or XB1
