Season 3 Teams discussion

This is not directed at anyone particular person, but just a statement in general.

Don't get all worked up about which team you are getting or not getting. We still have to go through the official signup stage which will be after the game comes out. There is not a first come, first serve. You can take all the time you want to decide on joining and teams, as long as you are on the list before we close it. If you are not on the list at that time, you for sure will not be playing as a starter this season, but will be an alternate in case someone flakes out on us. Just because you are on the list doesn't mean you will be involved either. It is a big pain in the butt for me and striker to do, but we will be fair and weigh everything carefully. All who know how this league was run in the past can agree that I am fair about this process. The less conflicts we have, the better. It really gets tough when several people put down the same 5 teams and they are all gone. There will be much more detail when the signup comes. All I can say is don't worry about that stuff right now. Nothing is in stone (except I will have Texas Tech as my team and USC is gone to skater). I am looking forward to this game and to the season, it should be a blast.

I created this thread because I was just curious if someone had a team or two in mind that they don't even have to see the game and they know they will play with that team. Even if they were all D-'s. Just something to pass the time.:wink:

sorry about all of that. I'm still new to all of this and I got carried away with the team thing. I just want the stupid game to be out. and hopefully game crazy will be calling me tommorow so I can get the stupid thing.

 

I understand and like I said, not directed at any one individual. I can't wait for the game to come out myself. I am getting mine at EB Games and they told me they were opening at midnight on Monday night to start handing out the game. I'm normally crashed out by then, but I'm thinking I will be up there to get it and get in one game before I call it a night on Monday night.

 

LOL!! As much as I cant wait until I get this game, Im taking the easy way and pick it up Tuesday morning.

 

Game Crazy where I'm at usually gets theirs in their Monday UPS shipment and they hand out preorders sometime in the late afternoon. So I'm hoping to get mine when I get off work at 5. If I have to wait until Tuesday that'll be cool too. I just want it to be out. Too bad I don't live near a CompUSA

 

the main reason why memphis is my 3rd choice instead of my second is because last year they didn't have a kicker, the 3rd string qb was the kicker... :x

It's nice to be excitied about a game again... It has been tough the last couple of months ...

I Think i might ask my local hastings.. (i live in the sticks) if they'll be opening for a midnight sale...

I love college football and hope i can get to playing ASAP so i dont get behind on the competition..

Yeah I am at work right now, but I think I may use alittle comp time today and vacation tomorrow. I am not real sure yet :?
