SEC Big 12 S3 Offseason will start Monday Dec. 14th

Not sure why you would bow out due to it going slow. I advance every 3 days when there is no Human/ Human games and 4 days when there are. Not sure why you would consider that slow.

As far as bumping it to 6 minutes games are so high scoring now with 5 minute quarters that I think I will leave it as is so we don't see 70-60 scores like we did in NCAA 2009. I wish they would make it so I can have 5 minute quarters in Human/CPU games and 6 in Human/ Human games, but they don't. If the majority does want to change the quarter lengths I will do it. Everyone needs to chime in yes or no.

As far as the sliders what should be adjusted? Let me know.

As far as getting to the offseason. I leave early Wed. morning for Atlanta and get back Monday afternoon. I will advance to offseason then. Please make a mental note or whatever it takes to remember that I will be starting the offseason Monday Night. Would hate for anyone to miss out on any offseason activity.


If anyone wants to switch teams now would be the time to let me know. I know Texas and Ole Miss has mentioned switching.

 

can we do some of the off season tonight? or at least start it?

 

Adjusting the sliders would make things a little more difficult, which would bring the scoring down, which would allow us to kick the quarter length up......Problems solved. The scores are more realistic and the games take a little longer.

 

Anyone want to schedule a user game vs. Da U this year? I know some of you already have two year gigs, someone without a non conference user game would be solid

 

can you post the sliders so everyone can try them out and give feedback? I can try them out when I get back into town.

Also I was thinking of advancing through an offseason task twice per day when I get back. Once in the morning and once at night around 8 pm est. This will make the offseason move faster. Let me know if you are alright with that.

So with these sliders, we are to be running teams then? I only ask cause the passing will be hindered and the running will be enhanced.

ON defense, seems like you would be doing better off letting the AI play your play rather than the human getting involved. I mean the tackling is much better from the AI than if I was controling the man, so why would I want to take my defense out of the play?

Of course, this is just from looking at the numbers, I would have to play with these settings before I would really know first hand how they effect play.

 

hmmm.. well since I have to go to work during the week, it looks like if we did this, I would only be able to participate in one off season task a night cause there is not much possibility of me doing the morning advancment before you do the evening advancement.

If you change that to around 9:30 pm EST, I would have a much better chance of being able to do both advancements.

 

How about like A 6 or 7 PM adv, would that work?

Also Marauders, the difference is most players are better than the AI, and we usally win games against them, not really seeing your point on that one. Also, Both Running and Passing takes a hit here, the QB acc is not as drastic as you think, and it helps to cause some incomplete passes, rather than either a completion or a pick, give them a shot and tell me what you think.

 

He is saying that he needs the evening advance needs to be later than I had said so I doubt 6-7 will work for him. Is everyone ok with advancing at 930 at night and somewhere around 9 in the morning? EST of course. Let me know.

Also as many people try these sliders as possible so we can have some feedback. Try them against a power house and also against a mediocre team as well. I just don't want huge blowouts against mediocre teams. Please try them and give feedback before I get back Monday.

 

I play these sliders in another league and they are pretty realistic. I have very close games with good teams and i'm yet to blow out a weaker team. I still win handsomley but not 70-3 or something like that. And your not always guaranteed a W against the cpu which is a great thing.

 

Somebody needs to take the defibrillator to this league because it is dead.

Alright guys I am home and going to jump on in a little bit to get the offseason started. Unless anyone is opposed I will advance at 930 PM (somewhere around there) and when I wake up in the morning until we are done. This should make up for lost time.
