Please Vote! Should players have to move up?

Should people like skires5 and many others just chilling in the A have to move up and face the sweaty competition for the sake of the league? Forget specifics right now, just yes or no.

Feel free to elaborate though. Also feel free to put some heat on your fav person who chooses to stay down.

Should give an incentive to guys who move up instead of giving them a team with no assets while Lemelin and doughty are gifted a good roster before bidding.
Maybe more resigns and a extra mngt spot? Make it enticing for guys to move up.

how about no more late signups? Ahl mngt gets selected after nhl bidding. It’s usually the same guys in top 20 scoring and having 20+ wins a season.

 

This won't ever happen because @LG McDonald himself skips NHL bidding. End of the discussion.

 

So are you proposing everyone must signup for NHL bidding or changing the requirements for AHL management?
Also, I think the CHL has an even bigger problem with guys that don't move up.

 

AHL is fun. NHL is not fun. Forcing players to move up might lead to people quitting instead. Plus there’s always a loophole

 

Well if staff are catering things to their advantage. Then that’s a bigger problem

 

The schedule works out better for him. Instead of being 6/9 he's 9/9 or whatever his avail is because of work. The dodging will always happen. Stop tryna change a league that's working just fine.

I think this is mostly the reason for others as well. They aren't ok just being a player by them self and risking having a "mediocre" season.

For overall parity in all leagues players shouldn’t be given the option to sign up late. If you’re good enough to play in the NHL then play in it. AHL becomes less fun when you’ve got guys that sit and wait to sign up to play just so they can dominate against weaker competition.
