There is no way humanly possible that you would ever be a better goalie than me even if you spent an entire year playing the position. You calling yourself a "D-man" is quite hilarious given the fact that you get coned harder than a kid learning how to ice skate. It's not hard standing on a blue line, holding left trigger and spamming RB and then essentially playing forward against 3rd liner LG nubs. So, call yourself a "nearly better D-man than everyone else" even though you don't even play defense, but the fact of the matter is that I'm at least top 5 at my position, whereas you are neither top 20 on forward nor defense. And please do yourself a favor and don't go around talking like you can play my position as well as I can when you've never even attempted to come close to playing my position at as high a level as I have. And if you truly believe you can, then put your money where your combover is.

And I'd like to think I'm a top d-man when I'm playing a serious game (by top I mean top 5-10), I had no problem locking down lan moran and company in the playoffs and any one I played against. If you are judging me by the games you played against Deanosaurus Rex then go ahead

If I played consistently as much as some of the "top" players and on a great team I would be considered top 5 at whatever position I wanted to play. Truth is I don't care enough to do that. Play me in versus I'm actually decent there haha, I'll put my money on that

Dont worry about Morrel Keso, he is like others who try and make a name for themselves with CB presence and big boy attitude calling people out when they have been irrelevant. I have seen Morrel in CB and watched during CanAm and other streams, its always the games fault if he gets scored on and talks shit. Never once where i could say he played well. Not a bad goalie but nothing special.

No matter what anyone says you're a top 10 goalie in the league on a top 10 EASHL club.

 

Mark, if you are going to have some miraculous moment of clarity, at least keep it 100%. This needs to be corrected to at least, AT LEAST, "top 3 goalie in the league on a top 3 EASHL club".

Morrel, I think you're the top American goalie. I think that Wall and Connor are in a class of their own though, followed by Beef. I'd still say your top 5, but u cant get to worked up by another opinion.

I'm not commenting on anything in this thread aside from something that Cheez said which I know for a fact is true. If you're good at the game you can be good at ANY position. Including inside and outside of the net. If I had to rank positions on degree of difficulty I would say it's Forward easiest, Goalie in the middle, Defense hardest. Regardless, as any position is a learning experience, those with higher intelligence usually excel wherever they are put.

Long story short; higher intelligence can usually correlate to higher skill in NHL 14. At any position.

 

I'd settle for top 5, but there is no way you are top 3 in both categories.
