My son has lost the usb plug-in for the percussion set. I don't need anything but that 4 inch USB cable. Does anyone know how or where I could get this little accessory?

ouch. that's not even a normal USB plug - you mean the little tiny breakaway piece? it's USB on one side and IDK what the hell on the other side.

Yeah, just the breakaway piece. So jcon you are saying that the little breakaway pieces are in there with the 4 port hub?

Guys, based on what he says its not the hub. No Xeno, the hub should be a seperate thing altogether.

Like jcon says, call up customer support for the game. They have probably been the best with handling repairs and getting a quick turn around. Just say that the piece seems to be missing from the box and I'm sure they'll send another one out pronto.

you only need the hub if you play with 3 other guys. What i do, since my xbox is wired (no wireless device) i hook up my drums in the usb port in the back, the guitars in the front. If one of the guitars is like me a guitar hero controler (wireless) then i can put the microphone in the front.

I'm sure Xeno appreciates the replies. I believe what he is missing is the part that "breaks away" between the game peripheral and the 360 itself. So basically, like the wired controllers have, it's the piece that stays in the 360 keeping your 360 from falling should you step/trip over the cord.

Somehow the word "hub" has caused the confusion when I believe it's the breakaway piece he lost.

You could go Jcon's route or if you're a little less devious  you could buy this from MadCatz (which is basically the same thing but longer):

Or for $5 more, get two extension cables that are Rock Band licensed:

I have to admit that I didn't research it a whole lot so I'm sure you can find someone that sells it or a similar one. You might want to call Gamestop (as much as I hate to suggest them) and see if they have any that you can buy.

I haven't called yet guys because my 360 is broken anyways so the urgency went away. But I definately appreciate the help and I know one of these suggestions is going to get me my missing piece.
