    How bout a multi year contract if guys wanna stay? Maybe be able to issue 2 or 3 these players would then be protected. Also this would only be eligible to A players

    I think if a status or v status that get picked in bidding should get like a no movement clause after say like week 5 or something or after trade deadline

    there really needs to be limits on the guys playing the game to remain in the lower leagues.... These guys can only play with friends get them on teams that there are new faces new players they have to learn to play with. You would find 70% of these players would not pull shit to stay in the lower leagues as they would only be new people in CHL or players that are not quite good enough for upper leagues and also would mix up these friends only teams .... would not have anymore last years teams.... all together for yet another season.... only few teams around the CHL are all new members and new players to the league..... the only time teams should be stacked in the CHL should be the last few weeks of trading and preparing for the playoffs... after teams do trading... DP's and V should be stuck in AHL and AHL TC they should never even make the CHL and players that are RA that have prior LG exp that signup late just to make chl should also be placed on AHL TC....... Bottom line this would stop the CHL from letting players just live for CHL life..... easy to own when its an ahl/nhl caliber team vs true CHL teams as you see they had very poor stats on the season and the rest just did avg or above and the teams that went 50-10 ... 40-20 and so on 90% of all those teams pretty much all those teams are friends or players that should truly be playing in higher leagues.. this would make all leagues way way more competitive

    People choose to play CHL because of the times or because they want to play with friends. Limiting CHL players to just A and V status players affects all those guys who signed up when there were only AHL and NHL teams. Half of these players have V status but in reality they are CHL caliber players.

    There will always be OP teams thats just how it is in every league, no matter who runs it.

    LG has a long layoff between seasons its hard for returning members to remember when those seasons start and end

    this is just an option to make the "whole league" better.... not just pad a few stats and or just keep players that cant adjust to the tougher leagues... and randoms they never play with...

    1) is going to happen. The 15 games to Amateur will be changing to 48 games(2 seasons) in the near future

    2) What do you mean?

    3) Everyone who is a prospect or RA Veteran can't be called up.. that makes up over 65% of the league...

    4) Are they quality guys if they are on the NML?

    5) Owners run the organization. I think the major issue or bigger issue is the lack of communication from the Owners to the AHL MGT on what their role and expectations are.

    6) Staff only selections NHL Owners and CHL owners. other positions are selected by NHL Owners. So if you are a successful CHL guy, I'd recommend talking to the NHL to find an opportunity to move up.
    This is why we need a strong Dev Team.
    This is a SIMULATION league.. we simulate what we can....

    It is kind of ridiculous to think that the AHL and NHL are an island as is the CHL...

    Tier systems work and if you don't want to be called up move to the highest tier possible or take management.

    You need to be a bit realistic with your ideas.

    Besides... it is a video game...

    Without Sony support its unlikely it gets better and even then, tag recovery will never be stopped. Teams, players and managers just have to accept it is a reality and the punishments are harsh

    Rules were adjusted before that season and if you are talking about DET, they lost ALL the games that season that the second tag won....
    Is it really needed?
    Everything filters up based on skill...

    Additional time as prospect will help, and taking management will also help.

    We sometimes need a reminder of what piece of the puzzle we are... the CHL is the future and feeds our top tiers as removals and retirements occur.
    The proposal is coming...
    AHL and CHL times next season will be the exact same...
    Its an 11 day off-season and then ~15 days for bidding...

    How would you recommend we condense that?

    I meant the layoff for non playoff teams, it's about 2 months for about 40% of the league and about 1 month for 75% of the league. I think we should have some kind of league (not IIHF or WJCs) that everyone can participate in if they want to during this period of time. A 3's league would be excellent for this period, but EA still hasn't added 3's club challenage to the game.

    Also when you say "A Status will be changing to 48 games in the near future" do you mean that all players that played this season (season 6) will get A status after 15 games?

    Current rules state a prospect player whom is drafted OR completes 15 ganes this seaosn becomes an amateur.

    It will be changing to a prospect who is drafted or completed 48 games becomes an amateur

    no the site is great and so is the league.... trust me i love it just wish things were different on the guys playing CHL ... just meant to be a rookie league i thought with a few exceptions here and there .... just maybe not whole teams however things are im fine with and im sure many others are too... but just have heard many talk about the ahl/nhl teams playing in the chl... but if you dont think there is an issue.... then back to the games thanks for your time

    So someone like me who has been a member of lg before the merge( if you don't get the reference then sorry) and has average thumbs at best should sit on a ahl TC all season because I played 200+ games on Xbox? Seems fair right ?!?
