LGCHL Suggestion Box

This is a suggestion for the website, anyway possible that when I go to player history and search up someone that regardless if it’s their lg name or psn gamer tag I use I will find them, seems to only search by lg name

 

First time I read something you wrote and don't instantly feel that it's flawed. But yeah I do agree. I'm a perfect example lol.

 

Just a simple suggestion to help grow and maintain LG on both xbox and psn side. Perhaps only allow a player to be a roster player on one console at a time. This way we dont have the "elite" always playing on both sides and it allows further growth and development of players that would otherwise be t.c. or not sign up or continue in the league.

 

Not specific to the LGCHL season, but for WJ can someone add the "Days you are available" thing that LGCHL regular season has you answer when signing up? Considering you can't make trades in the WJs, drafting a couple people with bad availability could determine your season's fate.

 

RA V’s should not be placed on teams after the trade deadline is an idea. They have to sign up earlier. They can have a huge impact on things especially if they are high level NHL guys. It’s almost unfair

 

find a better format for memorial cup.

 

Kill the rating system for the forum. For the most part, it's used as a vindictive tool by a few to bully people they don't like. I don't believe that was the intended purpose. It's the same with the chat boards.

 

Minimum age to join the league. Based on the maturity of most of the players 40 might be a good start. Seriously though, 18 - 21 might be an idea to consider.

 

In addition, a Goalies record should be the same format. Wins, Loses, OT Loses. Being an Owner I’d like to see how many Loses a goalie has in regulation and in OT.

 

I just signed up for my first season (season 8) and I have acquired about 2 hours of reading on this site and I am still rather clueless.

I signed up because I have been told I am quite proficient goalie and would hope to see how my skills translate amongst more elite talent, but I am worried I have no clue what I am doing.

Oh well...back to reading and trying to understand this (as well as the app)

Took me almost a full season to figure it all out. It's much easier once you get connected to a team, but even then there's lots of nuances to pick up along the way. (ECU rules, playoff differences, roster cutoffs, etc.)

 

I would really hope to not be a burden to a team or anyone during my learning curve. I know how to play hockey and my position, and I hope I will pick up on everything over time

Welcome to the league. Learning the site and your way around it is part of the developmental league, the CHL. It is supposed to be the responsibility of the owners and GM's to help you with these things. Some are better than others as with everything else. Since you are not on a team yet and should be hitting scouting games you need help now. As you've already seen there are a lot of good people in the league who will be more than happy to give you a hand when you need one.

In the future, it would be nice if we scale back the minimum amount of games played from 4 per week to 3 per week. Hence possibly letting more tcs getting involved early on in the season. Some kind of Swap program with a TC, so there would be a clear understanding between both roster player and TC. If the Tc no shows, then your accountable for his actions.
