Tanking Season!!!

Here we are with only one week remaining before the playoffs start. Most AHL teams are running around trying to figure out how to fix their roster because most NHL owners like to put out a competitive team, and dip into moving their AHL players. This raises the question should NHL teams be sending down proven NHL players post deadline and calling up lesser players in return. From what I have always been told is the AHL team is supposed to be the farm team not the NHL. But from looking at the Moose roster you would pick them to beat their NHL affiliate the Winnipeg Jets who haven't been competitive what so ever.

It's a bitch thing to do. No doubt, anyone who thinks otherwise oughta go fuck themselves.. It's not good for the competition in our community

 

I think they should be allowed to be sent down if they already spent time in the AHL that season and also are A status, have to spend a certain amount of games in the ahl to qualify for playoffs if they are sent down from NHL

This is done in the real NHL and this is a sim league so... Why would they make a rule against it. Just quit crying and

 

Maddens should hold a ban too. Guy is sending down his best players to ahl and then calling up anyone who "won't ecu" or anyone who the ahl team doesn't want on their roster .

They sent down 2 guys.? They are out of the race in the nhl. It’s not in the rules at all. Fuck it, send them down and let them have a chance at the Calder. SEND IT. Just beat em.

But it should be fixed in the rules, like they should put something in the contracts of the players so owners can’t do that, to even it out.

 

Well didn’t know this league was filled with a bunch of primadonna’s lol. But my intentions were not to be bitching and whining like some of u turned it into. For those of who have actually strapped on the skates before in real life u would know chirping is a big thing in hockey. One who has played for many years is gonna bring that into this bc it’s fun part of the game. I don’t care what the moose do, but i did call them out bc it’s fun and starts good rivalry. That’s why i came in here and trolled them instead of going to LG McDonald about the situation. Never was whining but glad it got some conversation going. What they did has no rules against it, just thought it was funny bc you would want the granddaddy of all the leagues (the NHL) to be most competitive. Good luck to all who are getting ready for playoffs or dusting off the clubs.
