Team ratings and other ratings

Iowa is a good team, make no mistake about it.:wink:

 

i'll be curious when the game gets here to see how much of this prima assessing talent on there own and how much is actually based on ea's rankings cause Iowa having the #1 qb over b smith, leinart, greene is amusing to say the least

You mean to tell me that Carnell "Cadillac" Williams and Ronnie Brown gets an 83 rating @ HB

The RB for LA Tech seems a little low too.... he was #21 in yards and #9 in average yards per carry.

 

These ratings take all players at that position into account, so the backups tend to bring the overall ratings down a bit. Good thing about it is your starters should be a lot better rated than your overall rating at that position.

 

Oh really.... My QB will be better than a 95 rating... :twisted: lol

In most cases you will have a higher rating than the average, MP you just happen to have 2 highly rated QBS. Take USC for instance they have 83 overall QB rating, but Leinart is rated a 95/93 something like that, so the 83 will mean jack as long as Leinart stays in the game.

 

I thought Missouri would have a litter higher ranking (Athlon's preseason poll ranked them 11th overall and picked them to win the Big 12 North), but it will be nice playing with a 2nd tier team and trying to overacheive against the big boys.

 

So are the rosters this years rosters or last years?

Just wondering because I dont see how I could have a QB rated 95 or something when I can't even find a QB on their current roster who has played more than 1 game... someone help me out here... lol

 

This year's of course. They can't have graduated players or guys that are in the pro's in the game now. That wouldn't be too popular with the gamers out there that export their NCAA draft into Madden each year.

 

I think that may be a typo. They have 3 SO and 1 FR QB's that have never started a game. If its not a typo then it must be the fact that Iowa is ranked in the top 25 in most preseason polls.

 

Yah maybe they got confused and it was supposed to be 65....they were like typing upside down or something....lol

 

I got 61.. lol in qb rating... Tye Gunn.. all his problem is, is just staying healthy.. lol.. My faith in this game is wavering...jk not really

 

I'm definetly liking Ohio State's rankings. Only weak spot will be at RB and I have a great special teams rated at 98.

 

Wow Miami's at 699, not bad. Lets see how fast I can screw that up.

MP, I think the programmers took Drew Tate's passer rating for 11 attempts last year nd gave him that rating in the game. LOL
