The Toronto Maple Leaf Season

Alright so we all know by now the leafs were beat in 6 games by the CBJ. Lets start with the buffalo forfeit since that really what everyone wants to know and really is also what started all the drama in our chat. So before those games AAli took a vote on if we should forfeit both games, however it was a split vote half the team wanted to play the other half wanted to take the easy out. AAli after some talking to said we would play game 1 and if we DET won then we would FF the next game, so we went out played the first game and lost it and the detroit Redwings won. I however wanted to keep our 3rd line happy and build a line with 3 ECU's that could play behind AAli's back, we sent the invite to Buffalo they accepted and we were loading up into the game however one of my ECUs bluescreened and we had to restart. The line sent the invite again after they got into the room and were waiting in the pre-game screen with 6 player, AAli however sent a message to Buffalo saying we forfeit. So our line was forced to back out of the game, but everything didnt go like AAli planned since Buffalo gave us the FF win pushing our team past DET in the standings and making us match up vs OTT. After a long back and forth AAli edited stats last (after 15 times) and that meant DET passed us and we dropped down to the wildcard to play the CBJ.

That is just some of the support i have gotten for trying to put a line out also i would like to say it was a fun season even even though i raged at the end of game 6. I truly have no idea whats going to happen to me now maybe i get banned for this but i thought everyone should know the full story about what happen that night also here is the stream that AAli told bardown to delete off Twitch but i told him to save it on youtube (yes Legal i was behind the "ratting out" as well" because i hate cheating) i feel like i have gotten everything out that i needed too

Why did you copy paste our whole discord conversation to detroit? They also purposely ff'ed their last game to avoid playing on 50ms all series long. It was a legit strategy that everyone but 2 guys agreed with. You say you're a man of integrity but you're just naive who got outplayed by someone smarter.

I don't understand why you wanted to hurt our team so bad. I played with you for 5 weeks and thought you were a stand up guy. It's disapointing to say the least.

Man if you’re in a playoff spot last week of the season forfit away. Hell I forfited a playoff series cause Everyone got bored of the game in the summer.
If your 3rd line wanted to play that bad tell them to get a life and to go fuck their unfucked and unhappy wives.
Simple fix. Plus why throw someone under the buss?

This is snitchy af....but there should be some sort of punishment for teams/owners that FF last 2 weeks of the reason when other teams are still chasing playoff spot(s).

 

There is so so so much wrong with this.

The most obvious being how do you organize a premeditated forced forfeit?

Then "delete your stream". This is like a level 12 cover-up. So much terrible going on here.

The most obvious being you don't have some random shitter on your team tell the entire league about it. This has literally happened to some extent with 1 or 2 teams every LG season which I have followed (S4-7), this is just the first time some *special snowflake* sent the evidence to everyone incriminating their own team.

I am not by any means condoning this. I just find it hilarious that this is the first time that people have jumped all over this topic when it happens every season.

Incorrect 100% we didnt take a premeditated FF. If we wanted CBJ that bad we would have forfeited both games because you guys had the tie breaker. We had one of our goalies in the hospital with a family emergency. Payner wasn’t available to play the late game and we had nobody else around who could play goalie. I’ve never FFd a game in 4 seasons as mgmt. Guys sign up to play the game let them play.

 

End of the day you look at the standings, everyone has teams they wanna match up vs.. you make sure you get those out comes whether it’s throwing or ffing. We did it last season to make sure we matched Ottawa in the first round. Nothing wrong with being smart.

 

Socca did it before S4 to play us (LA) so u guys were complaining about aali but if you were in the same position you would have done the same thing we did ...so stop with all the bs pls
