Thoughts? : Increasing Replacement Limit from 1 to 3

he didn't put together a "bad" (relative term here) team, i did. you are on the same team as the guy running this thing and tell me you're going to sign up for my team. since no official rosters page was up and i have no idea who you are, i penciled you in as a roster spot. unbeknownst to me, you are a troll and fucked me over because i stopped recruiting goalies thinking i had you and make your luck.

now make your luck is forced to play goalie all the time because you thought it was funny to tamper my efforts to acquire other talent. grow up.

You built a roster without talking to or playing with a person ever? That's just your fault for poor management.

hardly a mess, no one cares about this tournament outside of your team and a few other players. it's already a hassle of a tournament the way it's set up in regards to the LG season. i could be recruiting my LG teammates to get together and play, yet i'm playing this instead.

 

If you would rather be doing something else with your time, feel free. I play this tournament because I enjoy playing with my friends on this team and I like the competitiveness. Although, if nobody else cared about it then why would they pay?

I like where this thread is going.

You said this was something that would be voted on during the off-season last season. Kind of frustrating you waited until this season to begin to hold the vote and then cite that as an objection. Also, with less than 20 teams we probably should've considered a 20 or 25 game threshold, I don't know about everybody else, but it seems most nights after LG we can only get in 2 or 3 games max. I say that even though I'm on a team that shouldn't have any issues hitting 30 games, just sucks to see that a lot other teams might not make it because of this.

I will say Denham's actually not wrong about where the fault lies - with the people who quit, and the people who agreed to play with them. That doesn't make it any less frustrating that we haven't been able to get games in. Honestly though, even if we could have handpicked our roster, sometimes shit just happens and people bail. Same thing happens in the LGHL, but they have more options to fill those gaps when they happen.

Anyways, I am grateful for the additional replacement spot. Hopefully it will be sufficient to get us playing again.
