Thoughts on 18 players not being able to adapt 19?

    I noticed during beta play, that 19 brings the old school hockey play with it. Top 6s players didnt look so dominant as they did in past years. Will there be a vast change in nhl players or are we just assuming, that all nhl players will pick up, where they left off.

    I think a lot of old teams are gonna reunite for 19.

    90% of the current elite players will adapt and still be elite, its still basically nhl 18 with a new skating engine

    The D in 17 and 18 who relied too heavily on spamming RB are in for a reality check, that's for sure.

    I just think the mix of dump and chase and board play actually working, changes a lot. Also, gap control and positioning on defense is key to breaking up the forced passes and no more wiggle wiggle makes things sooo much better for d man
